all valid points tim this is a valid concern i have if i say yes and i don’t get rehired would that hurt my unemployment. i could always find things to do around the house but i like staying busy to many times i have seen people retire and then are dead after 6 months. they say this is my option i have enough time in to retire completely with me being 67 so that is another option. so this is a big decision.

Excuse me Good Sirs and DiC friends. i needed to share this. i got a email from my company wanting to know if i wanted to take a Volunteer Furlough for 6 months. Not sure what to do. They are sending this letter to everyone over 62 with 15 years of experience. i like working and doing something. so this is a hard decision on my part. asking for some advice or insight wanting to make the right decision for me. yes sometimes we don’t think we just react. When i worked in a fast food restaurant in the 70’s we had a manager that always had us pour pickle juice over a burn. it helped taking the burn away. that was a long time ago and times have changed.

tim thanks for the advice and web addresses. i will check Calm Balance out. after work i went on a short trip to a game park and sat by the lake for a while. while there i was in awe of all the wild animals that were there. so thanks again. how was your day?

tim well said my friend, i like a lot of us are all feeling the same loss or the feeling of disaster ahead. trying not to focus on things i could not control helped for a while. i’m going to be honest things right now scare me. trying to stay positive but it’s getting harder. Following all the new guidelines hoping that this is enough. not sure if this is enough. going to try the yoga links tim. So Thank you Sirs and DiC friends. rick

Excuse me Good Sirs and DiC friends the storm damage was just tree limbs and other people’s trash. spent 2 hours outside cleaning this up. felt good to be outside doing something. my dogs are not use to this 24x7 attention. so just wanted to drop in and tell everyone good night and sweet dreams.

we lost power (3 hours) for most of the storms. not sure was concerned more the dogs or my brother. We sat watch the lighting and heard the rain and thunder. When daylight comes will have to check for damage. So take care Starry and thanks for thinking of me. so you and your Mom doing ok? i understand this social isolation but wished it was over. going to get a few hours of sleep so Good Sirs and friends sleep well

He also said things were going good. i feel fortunate to still be working. i spent 2 hours outside enjoying the day. This time of year has always been my favorite. So how has your day been?
