    Chapter 24

There's no stronger love than a mother's love for her children. That's what we would all like to believe; but, in some instances, it's more of a myth than a fact. The nightly news programs inundate us with cases of mothers who are capable of harming their own chldren without a second thought. Love is not guaranteed in life whether it's from a mother, father, sibling or a complete stranger. Stories like this help to reaffirm our belief in a mother's love; and, I am grateful to the authors for doing so.

    Chapter 7

I loved the change in the point of view! Clever method to give us Jase's way of thinking and a quick view into his life before Andy. Also, lovedette how Laura stepped in to help both Andy and Jase.

    Chapter 5

Wow! When Andy discovered it was Jase at the wrong end of the beat down, he didn't waste a second jumping to his defense beating the crap out of his assailant! I don't believe any of my friends would ever have responded like Andy. Most would have cowered in another room. That boy has it bad for Jase! It's sad Jase feels betrayed by Andy not protecting him; but, his reaction is understandable and hopefully short-lived. I have to admit that my eyes were welling-up reading the end of this chapter. Very few writers have drawn me so emotionally into their tales as you have, Krista. Thank you for the experience.

    Chapter 27

At the beginning of the chapter, I had an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. And I was afraid that things were quickly turning bad for Jackson and Luke. Boy, was I glad to be proven wrong. There is no doubt in my mind that Henry is well aware of Luke and Jackson's relationship. It's wonderful to see Henry support Luke instead of shipping him off to some vile religious organization claiming to "cure" homosexuality. Cindy's going to regret her actions one day. The cellphone idea - priceless!
  5. One of those truly entertaining stories that let's you think you've got it figured out, only to be pleasantly surprised at the end. An enjoyable journey through the frightening social changes faced in high school by closeted gay teens. I love Krista's work - it's always really enjoyable to read.

    Chapter 26

This entire story has brought back some many wonderful memories of my own adolescence. Though the details are different than my own, the core of the story is so familiar. So much so, that I can't help but feel the anguish that may lie ahead for Luke and Jackson. Fortunately, I know that all will turn out well for our young ones. I say that because I don't feel this story can be anything but positive. At their age, I made the wrong decision. And, at the ripe old age of 54, I still regret my lack of action! I look back now and can't imagine why I chose not to follow my heart. What a fool I've been. So it's great to see our younger generations making the right choice to follow their hearts and not the narrow-minded views of others! This is a magnificent story! Thank you for writing it!
