I see what you’re saying! Magic is definitely powerful, but I want to show Rory struggling and learning, especially in unpredictable situations. As for the horses, that’s a great point. I might clarify that they panicked or were overwhelmed. Appreciate the feedback!

Hey, thank you!!! And no need to run! I need a couple days off, so no updates 😝
-
Ask Harry what? He spends each 500-page book learning a new spell because even though he's strong, he's inexperienced, and magic takes a ton of energy. Plus, he always has SO much help from his friends. If anything, Kieran and Rory are even worse off—they’ve got no Hogwarts, no Dumbledore, their friends are comprised, just two sleep-deprived boys running on adrenaline and bad decisions. 😂

Because magic isn’t an instant win button! Kieran has combat training, but he still has limits, and Rory is still figuring his magic out. Besides, exhaustion, fear, and survival instincts don’t always mix well with precise spellcasting. If they could just magic their way out of everything, where would the fun be?

And the venom thing... It's an inside joke! I thought that's how it was done, but according to Google... 😂

Why are you so obsessed with word count? For realz 😂 please answer, this is bamboozling me!!!!

The moment Kieran and Rory crossed into the Arcum wildlands, the dense canopy of trees closed in, blocking out the pale morning sun. The air was damp, heavy, thick with the scent of moss and wet earth. The path beneath their horses’ hooves was narrow and uneven, twisted roots clawing at the dirt, as if the land itself was trying to trip them. Kieran rode ahead, his body rigid, eyes scanning the dark treetops for any sign of movement. He kept one hand on the hilt of his sword, the other grip

Really? Lachlan questioning loyalty? 😂 I was going to to have him explain himself, but didn't want to get to deep in his head 😂 already the sex stuff... Him thinking about claiming and dominating Scarlet... Yuch 🤢

Don’t worry, I’ve got plenty more coming! No attrition happening on my watch 😁

Ohh! I've seen that! And I do like Shirley Temple, in like Heidi, but I like the more serious tone of the 90s The Little Princess. I still watch it occasionally 🥰🥰 Lavinina's the one that pulled a bunch of her hair out after Sarah cursed her 😂 hair is a girls biggest weakness, I guess

She's been so useful to me 😂 I had zero plans for her after Rory's bully scene in the beginning. Then i was like, what if she came to the castle??!?! and then i was gonna use her as a suicide bomb. But THEN this idea came to me!!! Who knows what's gonna happen, because not me!!!! OMG I'm 6k into the next chapter!!!!!!!!!! Will probably be done tomorrow!

LOL! I know you don't like it, but it probably won't take very long for the next part. I'll probably make each leg of the journey a different chapter, so, I plotted the first part and I'm already writing! I hate detailed plotting. Yuck. Idk if there's enough for another 80k but we'll see, I guess 😂

See, I felt Lachlan's POV was crucial cuz it raises the stakes. Now we know for sure he's coming...

The hours dragged by in excruciating silence. Kieran sat on the edge of his bed, patiently biding his time while he waited for the castle to settle. In his hand was Rory’s forgotten dagger and he turned it between his fingers, examining it. The cool metal pulsed beneath his fingertips, a soft hum of magic lingering in the blade. It felt important. It was important. The moment Rory had unsheathed it during the wedding ceremony, Kieran had known. It was the same dagger from his vision. T

Coming up, Lachlan POV 😂

Rory sat alone in his chambers, staring at the blue and silver wedding attire draped neatly across the chair beside him. His fingers tapped absently against the table, his half-finished breakfast forgotten on the tray before him. It wasn’t that he wasn’t hungry. It was that his stomach was in knots. Excitement. Anticipation. Nervous jitters. He wasn’t nervous about marrying Kieran. No, his love for Kieran deepened every day—a love that was sharp, unwavering, and real. But the

A week had passed. A brutal week of lessons in combat, magic, riding and endurance. Rory was more anxious than ever to leave for the Fae Kingdom now that he knew the king’s plans for him, but they had to bide their time. Croft had yet to give them the instructions he’d promised so they were still in the castle, waiting. And Kieran was adamant he get down at least the basics in his training before they left, so Rory was trying his best to get the most out of every session. It was Friday afte
