Wow! Gary thank you for showing the everyday life of what happens when we are hated for no damn reason! It is very hard to fathom what happens when you want to hold your lovers/mate hand and you are being judged. However, a heterosexual couple can do it all day. I love that you put Walmart in here as well because it is sooooo true. I do not know if I told you, but I am a 5 “7” African- American male from Alabama. My boyfriend is a 6”3” Caucasian male from Florida and we get a lot of looks (LOL) sometimes we find it comical, but it can really hurt. To take a word from you, we hope one day it will dissipate. It is with sincere appreciation that I enjoyed your realistic view of what happens in our lives we are judge by looks. Please keep doing what you do, it uplifts us all!

What a wonderful, uplifting, and delightful chapter! They are going to be great fathers! The untimely role with Nate foreshadows their roles really well… I am so glad the neighbors are not homophobic!

I have a BIG problem if Nate returns home, well two problems: one-his dad is not there yet even though he got a reality check-go strong mothers everywhere! Two- the bullying at his school can be just as bad, unless they are going to change his school. It is sad that he cannot be himself. I know that feeling all too well growing up in the south.

Well Gary, This is from my boyfriend, Shawn, not me. He says that we always spend our lives looking for acceptance because it is our internal desires. When we do not find it from the ones who are the closest to us, we look in other places that can be either positive or negative. Thankfully, Nate found his positive before another tragedy occurred. Very powerful heartfelt chapter filled with emotional nostalgic (for both of us) and bitter-sweetness. Impressive and realistic!

Oh my goodness! Is it okay to say that this chapter surpassed the last chapter? Also, I gave out two manly squeals for this chapter... The proposal was great! I am glad it was private and not public… This was my favorite part that Michael stated-“Maybe that’s the reason gay people all over the world have fought so long for the right to get married? It’s a tradition that’s ingrained in us, and without it, we don’t feel as complete?” So glad this is true in every state in U.S. now! I belong to an Episcopal Church and they accept gay marriage and I am happy to know that one day my boyfriend/partner will propose and I can get married in a church.

Was it ok that I squealed when Kendall came back through that door and pleasured Michael? LOL it was a manly squeal! I love the affection, compassion, and just sense of togetherness you showed in this chapter. I am just hoping it is not the calm before the storm and Candy sticks to what she said in the previous chapter! Great chapter!

Wow! I loved the walk through of the house! House hunters is one of my favorite shows. I am so glad they can get the house, but I do not want them to be house poor because the baby is going to be more expensive than they think. I am also glad that Candy does not want any rights to the baby (Boy, I hope, LOL). The dad coming around was so uplifting and it gives us hope in our walks of adversity that we face in our lives. The development of this story and the way you have describe this couple makes my see a vivid picture of them. The realistic issues they are going through and combating makes this a very good story. I’m so glad that you will finish it, but bittersweet, Just like Morningstar, I do not want it to end! LOL

Very emotional chapter … brought back a lot of memories. I can see what Kendall went through. As a male who grew up in Alabama with a Baptist upbringing, I know how he felt. Only it was not my dad it was my mom… I have been really thinking about the partner part and not saying boyfriends… Let me go tell my boyfriend LOL

I find it comical that you asked should there be a BOOK II, hmm how do I say this nicely without offending you…HELL YEAH there should be a book 2 and 3 and 4!!! This book was sooooo good and I have no doubts that it could become a #1 best seller! The book made us (my boyfriend and I) believe in shifters! My boyfriend (who does not like to read) actually beat me reading the next chapters! The emotions, the plot twists , the love, the compassion, the mystery, the lovemaking scenes, the character development, and etc… the list goes on about how excellent this book is and I am sure beyond a shadow of doubt that the next one will be as well. We need characters like Kellar and Tobyn!!! Okay, I am done… no, I am not done LOL thank you for such a PHENOMENAL, intriguing, and thought- provoking book!!!

Fendral is back ! I was crying and now I am rejoicing! My boyfriend called me a wimp- he just knew Fendal was coming back,BUT he did not bet me lol I would have gladly lost that bet!

I am crying and in awe at this chapter! I thought there was something about him being his grandfather. I called it ,but I am sad that I was right...
