Hi Gary, Great realistic poem. I hate that it is realistic. Soooo true… It can both be painful and stay embedded in our minds until we are consumed, or we can grieve and move on to better things. Of course, the hurt will still be there, and we have to be careful that when the next one comes along, we do not offend and hurt the way we were hurt. Wonderful as usual! On a side note, I am reading other stories on here, but you still remain my favorite (LOL). I have not gotten Shawn to read any others; your stories are the only ones he is interested in right now. Thanks please continue to do what you do!

This is a wonderful yet heart breaking chapter. He found out about his Mom sadly, but at least he knows she did not leave him. I have zero feelings for his sorry ass dad who told him his Mom left and to be honest I hope the brother did kill him that is two birds with one stone. The dad is dead and the brother goes to jail for raping Andy. Another thing where in the hell was FPS when Andy was with his dad and raped by his child molesting uncle. Yet, the homosexual is the predator!! I wonder what Eustace is going to say when he finds out Andy took his name as his middle name. I am not often this angry. ! But this story has had me on an emotional roller coaster… However, it is all coming together nicely, so I hope…

I loved that he thanked God even after everything he had gone through. Amazing and beautiful! His life has to get better!

Hi Parker, I apologize in advance for not leaving comments earlier for this magnificent book! I really have been enjoying it and the few other books that I have read on this website. I must say that the things I went through as I was growing up as an African-American male in Alabama were minute compared to what Andy has gone through. Not only that, but at such a young age! This is a wonderful touching heart-gripping story so far! It has a lot of twists and turns of survival. Miraculously, Andy has survived all the adversities he had to face; however, I can only hope that things are starting to get better. There are a lot of issues that need to be resolved from his past. I hope something good comes out of it this is a phenomenal story and I have not commented earlier because I do not know if you are still active on this website, but it seems like you are even though this story was finished in 2015. I saw your name on another author’s comment section so I said let me read and give your story a try and I'm glad I did! Great story!

So deep and analytical… I have often stared out the review mirror and you are so right, there is only One who will judge us for our past acts be it good or bad and He is the only One who maters. Furthermore, we have to forgive in order to be forgiven and it can be such an arduous task especially when you have faced such adversities in life. I really hope those metaphoric mirrors I look into show good and very little bad. This really got me thinking and thanks for sharing…Great work as usual!

I guess we didn't see Kendell and Michael's growing up and being together and stuff so we get to see it with Nate in Bodie Sensational!

I love the part when they were at the gas station he gave a prayer to the Man up above that was so wonderful! I adore their love making, it seems like it's getting better and better with each time LOL (wink ) The white lily part was so beautiful it's so amazing how something that we think is insignificant is so special to the other person. I enjoy it when moments like that happen. It’s funny how they both went and got dogs puppies. the names were so special and significant to them just another beautiful sensational chapter!

I am starting to become invested in Bodie and Nate as much as Michael and Kendall. However, I do not want to because they are young and their feelings will probably change… Sorry, I am just a romantic that way. I think I may be like Kendall. I love to see people in love, happy, and with the right person lol. I think Kendall gave Nate some really good advice about the Josh situation and I hold nothing against Josh because acceptance of yourself, first is a BIG step. Also, I know Nate’s Dad scared the hell out of him and the treatment of the so-call friends. I just have some advice for Josh if you are going to have a beard,( I hate that) at least have someone you like and know what you are doing.
