I've only ever posted one story on this site, and it was a rewrite of one I'd posted somewhere else a few years prior. I took large chunks out that I thought were unneccessary, or redundant, added parts in for clarity. Fixed a bunch of spelling and grammar errors that drove me nuts when I saw the original! But my motivation was because I wasn't fully satisfied with the original, and I thought I could make it better. The original I wrote over a 6 year period, posting slowly along the way. I never made an outline, I just wrote what came to mind. And that, naturally, led me to write myself in a corner many times. This time I was able to map it all out, and make things flow better. I did want to rewrite one character, but I couldn't because doing so would have meant the entire story would need major structural changes. If you do decide to rewrite, I would suggest doing it all before posting. I did all of the changes before. But then once I put the first two chapters up, I don't know why, I decided to basically rewrite my entire rewrite -- and made major changes. I wouldn't recommend doing that!

Thanks @David Santos. In the original version I had done the back and forth a few times, but I tried to take it out as much as possible in this version because I know it can get confusing. That said, I did keep in a few places, because I thought it helped with pacing. But good to keep in mind if/when I return to writing.

Yes, Aiden and Jenn is a bit too perfect -- but I was allowed one cliche ending, right? And I thought they really would be great together. I love Jenn's character, which is why I gave her the last spoken words in the story -- which were very true to her character Thank you for all of your kind comments and support!

Thank You! For staying with the story all these years. I thought about adding a bit of Jordan in the Epilogue, but I kind of like how I ended off with him in the previous chapter, especially his last line of being "home" with Noah -- I thought that was fitting for him. Thanks also for the review! 😎

A mix of all that. Busy with school, his mom, plus Canada is a huge country. And flying from Toronto to Vancouver is not cheap! Domestic flights in this country and way too expensive. Thanks for all of your comments!

So, I wrote a short story a while ago (it’s just a couple of chapters. More of a mystery story). It needs to be polished just a bit. I may post that here, though I’m not too sure. After today, I’ll be quite swamped with work until probably at least June, which is why I was trying to get this all wrapped up. I didn’t want to leave it hanging. If if I do write another novel type story, I’ve learned my lesson from last time - I’m only posting once I’m done. The original version of this took 6 years and I pissed off quite a few readers. Not doing that again!

Thank You @Dirk! That was my ultimate goal, to make both Noah and Jordan feel like they are real. So for you to say that is amazing. I haven't decided yet if I'll write more, but what I do know is I had to finish this story by today because work is about to get CRAZY. So, time to shift focus for a bit. 😕
