    Epilogue

Indeed I didn't. Gotta keep you all guessing, right? 😁

    Epilogue

Thank you! In a way, I will too. I've been living with these characters in my head for a decade now 😶

    Epilogue

Thank you! I do feel this ending is better and fits with how I described his mom. The other version I think I as just trying to leave the reader happy. I still think I do with this one as well. Also, gotta leave something for the imagination, right? Plus, always good to leave the door open a bit to the possibility of picking up my pen again.

    Epilogue

Thank you @Parker Owens for your wonderful and insightful comments! One should always visit Toronto. It's a pretty cool place. 😊

    Epilogue

Thank you! Maybe she is there 🤷‍♂️ hiding in the back. And who said it was a wedding? 🤔

Wow, thank you! That is so nice of you to say ☺️. Jordan, though may want a word with you ...

    Epilogue

*** NOAH *** A loud noise wakes me up suddenly. “Sorry, sorry, go back to sleep, I’ll be quiet,” Jordan says hovering over the bed. “What time is it?” I ask looking for the clock. “Five in the morning.” “What are you doing up so early?” A lot has changed in our lives, but one thing hasn’t — Jordan never gets up this early. Usually I get up first and then I start the long process of waking up Jordan. It’s basically our daily morning routine! He had a ph

    Chapter Thirty-Six

Thank you for the suggestion. Honestly, the thought never really crossed my mind. I've always just seen her as someone is just intolerant because of her upbringing. I'm still tweaking the final chapter. A lot harder than I thought it would be!

    Chapter Thirty-Six

    Nothing! It's a wonderful city. 🤓

    Chapter Thirty-Six

I'm almost afraid to ask why, though I'm sure I could figure out the reason ...

    Chapter Thirty-Six

Nope. Jordan's dad was a deadbeat, and didn't really have any money or assets.

    Chapter Thirty-Six

Yes, given his financial situation, and that in-province tuition in Quebec is lower, and living at home is WAY cheaper -- it would have made sense for Jordan to say there and go to McGill. But then how would he ever meet Noah? Then the story would be Noah and .... Liam? 🤣 I placed both guys outside of their home provinces because I wanted there to be that distance -- I wanted them to be on their own, independent. Plus, I have a soft spot for the city that I placed them in -- which @jagboi and @Tonyr you may or may not have guessed correctly. You'll find out soon though! ☺️

    Chapter Thirty-Six

Hmm ... interesting. I never thought about that. Something to keep in my back pocket if I ever decide to continue on with their journey. Oh, and if it includes Jenn there is bound to be drama. Thanks

    Chapter Thirty-Six

@Geoffrey257 I did mention it in the comments, but this is the first time I mention it in the actual story. Noah is from Vancouver, Jordan is from Montreal, and Jenn is from Halifax. Where they go to school I have not mentioned in this story yet. That I'll say in the Epilogue. 😎

    Chapter Thirty-Six

I'm interested too! Ha. I've partially written both. I thought I knew which one I was going to pick -- now I'm not as sure. There are pros and cons on each side. So, we will all find out in a few days. Don't worry, Aiden and Jenn will both find a satisfying conclusion. 😏

    Chapter Thirty-Six

Thank you! Some of your questions will be answered in the Epilogue. Though, the next chapter will indeed be the last. I feel like the story has run its course. And it's been a good ride. Your English is absolutely fine, no need to apologize. 🙂

    Chapter Thirty-Six

Aiden will indeed return. His twin brother Adrien though, I don't know ... 🤨
  19. Even though I wanted to write shorter chapters -- I never did. I just posted the last full chapter -- that wraps up most of the story -- it is 15,000 words. Too long? Probably. But - breaking it up didn't feel right. I think it flows - and should hold the reader's attention. If it doesn't, I'm sure someone will let me know. Thanks for all the responses!
  20. *** JORDAN *** It’s the small moments that stick with you. Those unscripted, raw experiences, Which create memories that last a lifetime. Whether it’s a soft touch, A stolen glance, An infectious laugh, Or a devilish smile These are the moments we cherish. The ones we replay over and over in our heads. You never know what will create a lasting impression. Life is unexpected that way. It throws us curve balls, Keeps us on our toes, Plays with our emotions.

    Chapter Thirty-Five

Sorry, bud. All things must come to an end eventually. I think (and hope) you'll be happy with how it all wraps up.

    Chapter Thirty-Five

Hey! Looks like I'm starting to win someone over 😎. As for the threesome, all just a joke. I think the two have their hands full (and other things) with just each other.
  23. *** NOAH *** I could stare into his eyes for eternity, Get lost in that soft blue hue, In their warmth and depth. There is just something about the way he looks at me. The way he makes me feel inside. Only he can do that. Only he can make me feel so at peace, Wanted, valued and loved. By his side, This is where I belong. This is where I am meant to be. This time, I’m not letting go. We stand close. My hands resting on his shoulders, his arms w

    Chapter Twenty-Nine

No, it did not, oddly. When I originally wrote the story I didn't know anyone in Australia. I placed Aiden there because it was geographically far from Jordan in North America. I wanted to pick a place where the timezones make it difficult to easily communicate. Then, a few years later, while living abroad, I became friends with an Aussie. Eventually, we both moved back to our respective homes, but are still good friends.

    Chapter Twenty-Nine

I apologize if I offended you, but it was only a joke. I was not making any reference to gun violence, rather the animals (snakes, spiders) that can be dangerous to humans. Australia is known for having quite a few of those. As I said, Australia is a beautiful country - and I would never hesitate to go back for another vacation (it just takes close to 30 hours to get there!). My best friend is Australian. And because of what I do for a living, I actually know a lot about Australia -- more than your average Canadian, and I'd even argue more so than an average Australian would know about Canada -- and if we actually engaged in conversation you may be surprised. All that said, again, I didn't mean to offend, and I'm sorry that I did.
