  1. This is a really fine story, Colin. We've all read this kind of "if I, if he" story before, but you've told it in such a way that it rings fresh and new. The dialog flows naturally and believably and the narrative is filled with color and flesh. The progression pace is just right. And, getting a blizzard into the story didn't seem at all labored or phony. I look forward to reading more of your work, Colin. You've got a real "touch." --Sterling
  2. Oh my god, Luc. What an incredibly affecting story! The tones and colors you inject into the storyline make for a simply wonderful read. Every emotion, every moment of magic, every tear, every memory gives your characters (present and remembered) a depth very seldom found in even the best writing. The strength (and weakness, too) of your protagonist is demonstrated with clarity and truth. I'm going in search of your other work right now. You are a treasure. --Sterling
  3. A really outstanding read, Camy! Your character development is supurb and the plot flowed most naturally. Your use of language adds a unique flavor to the writing and your characters were believeable and approachable. I'd really like to "help" and suggest something that might have been improved upon, but I didn't find ANY flaws. Most enjoyable! --Sterling
  4. I'm a brand new member and I'm eager to look around and get more familiar with the group. I've been reading from the Nifty archives for a while but it's difficult to gleen the wheat from the chaft there. The GA archive and hosted authors looks to be of a more selective sort, making it more likely for the reader to find well written material. At any rate, I'm optimistic. --Sterling
