    Thanks for the reply - I did originally go to the FAQ but if there's a step-by-step guide in there it's not exactly easy to find! Just a suggestion but perhaps Admin could think about creating a 'How to post' option in the drop-down box that appears below the help tab - please! Now I've written down the cut & paste instructions - again - I'll try to post my next chapter. Cheers 🙂

    Hello there my fellow authors, I know you'll be surprised to read the subject of my plea for help but there's a clue in the title. Not being at home - and I won't be there for some days - I don't have my 'Book of All Things" to hand which means I don't have the instructions on how to actually post a story on here once you get to Stage 5 😞 (I've sorted all the rest). So in plain English would someone please explain it to me? The story's currently in a Word document which I know can be transferred as my previous offerings were all like this.     I agree with you, sort of. If either a pre or sequel occurs to me I'd only launch it on the world if I (and the friend this was written for) thinks it's entertaining.

    Um, not sure there is a 'next' or at least I didn't think there was until you asked! It was written as a 'gift' for another author pal, I began writing it last Friday (16th July) finished it last Sunday tweaked it Mon/Tues and decided to put it on here yesterday. Maybe there isn't a next, perhaps there might be a 'before'. Your thoughts . . . .

    So my friend's had a secret for a while - and I've just found out. All thanks to me paying him an unexpected visit and a pair of ladies shoes. He's a drag artiste. He's darned good at it too. I even ended up being bribed into being his quick-change dresser at the first of his gigs I went to!

    Hi Unioncountry, since I last uploaded anything my man's been in hospital 4 times so life's not exactly been stable. I've actually written another part to "First Night" and a 'side-story' which includes Theo and Adrien BUT isn't directly about them; however at the start it's a lot darker than most stories on here so I'm not sure if it's something readers on here would take to. If I can remember how to post on here I'll upload a couple of chapters of Pt. 3 of "Frist Night" and if it seems people still like it then maybe I'll post all of it.

    Bard Simpson - I think you've pretty much nailed it on Adrien's motivation! Thank-you for the compliment, not sure I set out to 'challenge' anyone (including my characters) but if it turns out I did then that's a bonus 😀 Don't we all just write what we know - or think we do?

    Perhaps he went with Theo to see if he could go along with the 'And/Or'. I think the 'why' of how come Adrien does is really explained in chp. 2; I rarely, if ever, write in 'chapters' I have to try and put the breaks in later - and trying to guess how long to make a chapter to post on here gave me some real headaches which is probably why the 'explanation' isn't in this chp. but the next.

    Carry on like this and you'll have read this chapter almost as many times as I've read U-N-I from start to finish! (I don't count reading individual chapters) There's a bit of a clue as to why Theo instinctively wanted more in their conversation with Adrien's parents 😁

    Well near the end of the chapter you weren't fond of one of our heroes comments that after their sojourn at their island home thy could have enough material for a double album and you've had them writing stuff on tour - which is before one of them needs the recuperation. (This not giving things away's a bit of a pain!!)

    Hmmm, well there's, um let's see . . . . at least two possibly three chapters to complete and there's another three pretty much polished but no doubt there'll be some 'timeline tussels' to be had!😅 It's U-N-I, it's us you just know there's gonna be a timeline issue somewhere, he-he. Oh and isn't there another album to be recorded?!!
