    A beautiful yet powerful story where the adage “looks can be deceiving” was readily apparent. Readers will enjoy Otis and Hudson’s journey traversing innocence, love, and tragedy. This story is a fantastic read especially for those adventurous enough to experience a realistic view of innocence interacting with a chaotic world.

    Wonderful ending for a great story. The dark undertones were appropriate to reveal Otis’ character. Otis persevered despite adversity whereby many would have failed. I really enjoyed the allusion to future children. You should not have any regrets exploring the darker elements of characters is what makes them relatable and appear realistic. Oftentimes, realistic elements prevent stories from becoming banal.

    Excellent work being to a powerful story. Otis overcame adversity to achieve a life of happiness. The dark elements were required for his character development as he overcame life challenges. The contrast between Otis and Hudson was stark but complementary. Although some only like realistic happy only stories. This one provided a glimpse into the dark side of humanity and how some get caught up with those elements.

    I suspect that Mike is the “missing” child, but I do not expect a familial relationship. In my family, we have mixed family pictures that include close family friends/best friends and their children in our pictures.
