  1. Nice start. I would like to see the word 'Cody' used less. Perhaps a 'he' in there. I counted at least 20 times his name was said, not counting Gabes use of it. But thats just me. Pronouns rule! Also the first paragraph is a run-on sentence. ; or : work well if you want to keep a thought going but not stop the pacing. But hey, what do I know, I only write scripts .
  2. All hail reason!
  3. Hey everyone. Ok, I keep getting flak on my script format , so here's the deal. Excerpt from Denny Matrin Flinn's book 'How not to write a screenplay' pg 22-23 paperback. "...there are two kinds of screenplays:reading and shooting. When your writing a screenplay make it readable. This is especially good advice for a writer working on spec and hoping to sell the thing. Later, if the film goes into pre-production, the screenplay will be boarded and budgeted. The production draft will have continued and scene numbers and other esoteric things that writers tend to like, as it gives them a feeling of being in the business, instead of on the outside with thier nose pressed against the window. But you are trying to sell a screenplay, so make it a smooth read...." "Not to long ago all screenplays read like production scripts, with lots of close-ups and camera angles and scene numbers. Clearly the style today avoids camera talk to concentrate on story and character. Perhaps writers have finally realized that directors and cinematographers will do whatever they want anyway." Thank you.
  4. Sad, if it fits the story. Happy if it fits the story. Nothing is worse then a happy ending that has been 'tacked on'. Overall though, sad. Ever see the movie Hapiness? Now thats a sad ending!
  5. Wow.... Thanks for the heads up. . .

    Scripts

Hello everyone! Long time reader, first time poster. . . . Well I just put the last touch on my script, and now I'm wondering where I should post it? I'm also thinking that I may not want to post the whole thing, but then again. . . . . . Any thoughts?
