  7. Island of Delos, 1249 BC The winds were calm that night as a Greek merchant vessel glided across the dark waters of the Aegean, cutting a silver path toward the sacred Isle of Delos. Revered across the Greek world as the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, the island drew priests, sorcerers, and wanderers attuned to ancient magics. For vampires, it was far more than a myth. Delos was a convergence point, an initiation ground for newly turned fledglings. From distant lands they came, drawn by

  18. In my mind the reason why the Ancient Ones were not so well known is that they so powerful that they are bordering to legend, I mean the gfd vamps have their extras but the ancients have magic, they are more ruthless and animalistic. I made sure there's a difference. In Aelios’s case his history was hidden away from the public eyes, after stepping away from vampire politics the elders who took over thought that a half-life who led a rebellion and won against his sire is too dangerous! Thus why modern vamps only heard the horror stories about Aelios. Note Aelios is quite aware of the Mimic and vampire dawn prophecy he favors them thus during the centuries he guided them secretly, he does not want theron or the elders to know that he's the reason why most of the mimics were well trained but sadly he knows the price of being the mimic losing ones mate was painful to watch even the Wolf of Argos cried
