  1. Not that I enjoy reviving old threads... No not me But I spent the night in chat last night. I mean I know it's posted on the main site and all but, thought it would be cool to kinda mention in here Saturday Nights are still on and I had lots of fun, you guys are so cool to hang with I just thought it was weird that it seems like forever since it was mentioned in here. Unless you are kinda hiding, then I just like totally blew your cover Hehehe... *HUGZ* I had a great time and can't wait for next Saturday
  2. Lots of good points. And all of them I agree with. I think a lot of it relies on what your particular taste is I mean some people are happier if they kinda guess where it's going, and they are right, and it was like, the best ending for them. I personally love movies that throw you such a hard curveball at the end that it just "Wow"s you. The Sixth sense was good that way. One of my favs was Butterfly Effect. Amy movie that you can sit and follow for almost two hours and have it leave you wondering "if any of it ever really happened then?" is a definate plus in my book Maybe I just get a thrill out of being surprised... I dunno
  3. Awww... I liked the way it looked Glad to see it growin though
  4. Looks like you have a great base to work with, a solid plan and some really cool content to work with. Only thing I can think of to mention would be the fact that it will be a "Work in Progress" from beginning to end. Every story is different and you may find some tripping hazzards along the way. The good thing though, is if you keep in contact with the working authors, alterations to the main plan are normally easy to do midstream in a situation like this. You'll no doubt find ways to make the flow between authors better in ways that probably wouldn't work for others. This project takes you down a path seldom traveled by most... I have no doubt it's gonna rock I'm just now into chapter 4 of GFD and quickly falling in love with the story. (My own work kinda made me fall seriously behind with my reading.) But if ya ever need someone to bounce ideas off of or whatever, I offer my brain to pick. (No, that's not meant as a joke ) Hehehe... *HUGZ* - Jeff -
  5. Nah, I can read it! I wanna jump in here cause I'm a huge Billy Chase fan. To be honest, I never thought I would get hooked on it. I mean how much of a storyline can you get into a couple of paragraph entries? Guess I had something new to learn. Funny, but I sat on the edge of my seat for Jimmy LaPlane hoping he was gonna be ok, and stay that way. Brandon is a daily frustration, cause that's the relationship I would love to see Billy finally be in. AJ has urked me since the first time the two were alone. That relationship seems so one sided it isn't even funny. I wanna smack Sam around and tell him what I think of him... All this from a story I didn't think would hold my interest... I should have known *HUGZ*
  6. Hehehe... **Waves Back** Maybe I'm pretending to be on-staff, sneaking into the meeting or trying to get rid of that "Newbie" title <<< But I'll toss in how ours went, or is going. "7 Authors - 8 Chapters - No plan - Just lots of fun!" It's been ongoing for almost a year as one of our designated writers fell off the net for quite some time. I guess haveing a couple of "Pinch-Hitters" would be a fair piece of advice. Putting size limits could put a strain on an author who can't seem to get it to stop. Hey we all have it happen. I personally think that if that ball get's rolling, see where it goes. Who knows what you may miss out on should they go say 100k over the limit and have to do some trimming. Howz bout a recomended size guideline, this gives you some bend in the limits so exceptions can be made? Hope that helps some, now I'm going next door to see what trouble I can start *HUGZ* Good luck
  7. Definately deserves feedback! This looks like quite a project you guys have going on here. My home forum is doing a similar project, written more for the comic value than to have a serious story line develop, I can't wait to see where yours goes I can toss my 2 cents in here, right? Cool I'm not sure how you guys have this planned but, I didn't see anything mentioned about participants being told who was going to do chapter # ??... The reason I bring this up is because we ended out electing our authors, and assigning them a chapter to just jump on once the previous one is posted. This eliminated a good amount of confusion as we didn't want three people writing chapter 2, not knowing that others were working on the same chapter. That could make deciding which version goes live a burden that will result in a few hurt feelings... Hope this helps you out some - Jeff -
  8. I have to agree... I mean if you are in a failing relationship, then it's not meant to last. "Love the one you're with..." I mean, that's why you are with them already, Isn't it?
