Oh, and I know how much the next chapter will get everyone worked up.... It all starts when Billy

Say man, you got anymore of them chiffhangers?
-
You're very welcome. I'm still working on the chapter, given my issues, but I'm hoping to have it ready by Saturday to @chris191070 doesn't send someone to take me out. Lol

Without cliffhangers, how could I guarantee that you'll read the next chapter? Sure, you're already 56 chapters in, but you could decide to quit at anytime, and I can't have that. Lol

Steve sat in the main office feeling nervous. He wasn't sure why he was there, and wondered if it was because of the amount of time he had taken off since getting his teaching job. He hadn't been there long enough to qualify for the union, so if he were in trouble, he didn't have any backing. “Steve,” Mr. Montgomery said, “please come in.” Mr. Montgomery was an older man, perhaps in his late 50s, and looked like the grandfatherly type, complete with dad bod and black, horn rimmed glasses. I like to think that Billy and Trevor are giving Kenny space to settle in and adjust to his new situation, especially after how poorly the shopping trip went. Plus, they might be waiting to see how his mother's treatment is going in the long term before bringing up something so serious. As for the judge, there are a lot of good points you've made, but in custody cases, if Calvin gets custody, he could move with the boys to another country, making the appeal almost pointless.

Wouldn't you if you were Billy?
-
Then you'll love dessert tomorrow....
-
The trial was a farce to begin with. Billy has only turned it to his advantage. I'm sure adoption will come up, but only if it has to. Glad you liked the circus.
-
Billy is just trying to give Kenny some hope that his mother will be okay. There's no good position in his, especially for Kenny. The Government would replace his gavel for free, sadly. Lol
-
Unlike in TV and movies, trial have to come to an end. A judge just can't dismiss a case without a motion from a lawyer and good faith cause to do so. Right now, the only attorney who would make that motion is Billy, who's just getting started.
-
Yes, this chapter was a good one...can't wait to see what you have to say after tomorrow's chapter....
-
You're welcome @JohnnyC. I pushed myself to get these chapters out to you guys, so I could spend this time with my friends, while giving you everyone a little something extra for me such great and supportive people.

“Objection, Your Honor,” Mr. Clarke practically shouted. Diego's heart beat so hard, he thought he was going to have a heart attack. Mr. Clarke snarled, “Lack of foundation, argumentative and irrelevant.” “Your Honor,” Billy said, calmly, “My client had informed me that he had been sexually abused at the hands of Mr. Johnson but had no physical evidence at the time to notify the authorities.” “As disturbing and regretful as that may be, Mr. Parker,” Judge Arthur said, measuredly, “this

We have no contact and it's best that way, as much as this does sound like a good idea. I know the real Calvin would try to lie about the things I've said on here, despite the evidence/witnesses I have, but he's honestly not worth the time or energy. Like Diego, I don't want to even be in the same room with him.
-
It's complicated, which will be explained more when Diego takes the stand, but yeah, I was certainly manipulated and he didn't give a fuck about it.
-
Or you could put them all in gimp suits and march them around at PRIDE? 🤔
-
It was a struggle dealing with the abuse, and I'll get more into that when Diego testifies, so I don't want to spoil anything here. However, this story has been helpful and the support everyone has given me has been beyond amazing, so thank you everyone. You have no idea how much it means to me. Due to childhood abuse, I can turn my emotions off (for the most part), which has helped writing this; plus, this story is intended to be a giant fuck you to the real Calvin who knows I'm writing a story, but he doesn't know I'm publishing it (he did have an idea that I write for Nifty, though). Billy is a beast and will fight for what's rights.

As for the video, typically, it wouldn't be admissible, but since Mr. Clarke attacked Diego's character, the video can be at play. It would've been impossible for the judge to deny it without showing bias, which is why everyone was upset. You literally cannot character assassinate as a lawyer because it opens the door to stuff like this. Yeah, I don't know if I'd rather get beaten up than spend time with Calvin. Lol

Yes, there will be a chapter tomorrow and Monday, actually. 😁 I figured since I was going on vacation, I will reward everyone with some weekend reading over the holiday (Memorial Day). Btw, I don't know if you've read any of the past comments, but Calvin is based on a real person, and about 85-90% of what fictional Calvin did the real Calvin did. I only made slight changes for the narrative of this story...and I feel the same way you do, my friend, especially since I was his victim.

Thank you. The video will be interesting for sure.

Bryan was furious. He spent most of the night pacing and venting his bitterness. It had been years since he and Caleb had been in elementary school together, and he blamed himself for not being there to protect him. Kenny tried his best to calm his boyfriend down, but nothing seemed to work. Bryan wanted to find the kids who sent his brother to the hospital and beat them up as badly as they hurt his little brother. Billy had ordered Chinese take out, since they didn't really have enough tim

As I mentioned before, I've known teachers and playground monitors that never paid attention to the kids under their care, while only getting involved after someone got hurt. Bryan is someone who would get revenge, isn't he? However, we'll see how things go the rest of the weekend. I am feeling better and leaving for a mini-vacation here in a couple hours.
