When I was in school, most teachers ignored bullying, and this is a reflection of this. A lot of teachers and administrators turned a blind eye unless a fight was happening and they had to get involved. As for Christopher being connected to the protestors You might want to check my reply to JohnnyC's comment....

Thank you @JohnnyC for your concern and support. I'm feeling better now that I have my meds sorted out. I'm leaving for a trip in about 3 hours, so I'm hoping I don't have issues on the way, since there won't be any stopping. This was tough to write, because I originally had Caleb in a much worse position but dialed it down. The rest of the chapters this weekend will be interesting to read for sure...and yes, chapters.

“Mi pobre bebe,” Diego said, as tears fell down his cheeks, as he softly stroked Caleb's hair. Caleb was asleep and had been since before Diego arrived. His was bruised and swollen, which only broke Diego's heart further. Diego had concerns about Caleb's concussion, but the doctor said he should be fine for the time being. They were just waiting for a CT scan to make sure everything was alright before sending him home. Nobody at the school would tell Steve anything except there was an alter

As I told my boss, "The drugs have sweetened my disposition. Now, when I tell customers to fuck off, it's with a smile."

UPDATE: I'm getting my conditon under control, but the medication is making me a bit loopy, which is effecting my writing. I'm still working on next week's chapter, though. If you're not following me and/or this story, you'll want to get on it...or you'll have a ton of reading to catch up by Tuesday...just sayin'. ❤

Or OnlyFam if Liam and Mike are related in this case.

Thank you, Al. I appreciate the support. You'll find out soon about Caleb.

Thank you, Chris. I'm feeling better slowly every day. The courtroom scenes are still coming, so there's still more to "enjoy." Lol
-
Thanks. It's been a struggle, but I'm trying to remain optimistic for the moment...or that's just the meds talking.... Next weekend will be a definite treat for everyone, but after that will be an uncertainty until this problem stops.

I'm doing the best I can with the pain, which only started on Wednesday. Unfortunately, I have to jump through all the hoops before I can get a surgery that will work the best.
-
Except I can't have alcohol while on the drug I'm taking. I'd rather not go to prison. lol
-
Thank you @Anton_Cloche. There are treatments and surgeries, but it can be a lot long process to find what works. Judges do think of elections more than they should when it comes to sentencing/decisions, so you've made a very good and valid point that I don't think has been brought up before. You won't have to wait too long to find out about Caleb's fight, but I suspect that some rage will come up.

Thank you, Cliff--I mean, @drsawzall for your concern and support. It means a lot. Ashley's reaction will be covered next weekend. As for the judge, he might be leaning more towards Diego's side at the moment, but we're still not done with the case. Clarke gets paid by the hour, whether he wins or not, so he has no real incentive to just drop a client. I like to think that Clarke would be an attorney that would gladly represent Donald Drumph and would prove to be as affective as his other attorneys. You won't have to wait too long to find out about Caleb.... @drsawzall, since you brought it up...what does going down on your sibling and O'Doul's have in common?...although it tastes the same, you still know it's wrong...You're welcome.... 😁

Thank you. I'm trying to get through this very unexpected situation the best I can, and your support really means a lot and helps just as much. The message actually took me quite a while to sort out and get right. I was going to continue this chapter to that point, but decided to end things where they are (I'm a sucker for a cliffhanger). Yes, the judge is likely seeing things from a different angle, but the outcome is still in the air.

Thank you for your continued support. It really means a lot. Honestly, I couldn't think of any questions for Clarke to ask. If I were in his situation, I think I wouldn't done the same. It's hard to try to discredit so many witnesses, all with the same story who's only connection is your client. As for Caleb and his situation....

Since I'm feeling a bit better at the moment, I thought I'd reply individually. Since you like this scene, you'll like the next several coming up, and I truly appreciate the concern.

Thank you everyone for your support. It means a lot. This condition can last a couple of weeks to a couple of months, and the medication is very slow to act. I'm hoping to be back to normal and finish the chapter I was working on soon. As for this chapter, I wanted to give everyone some hope and to show more of Billy's tactics and ability. He is a good lawyer, and I think it shows here. Fortunately for Diego, Calvin is a giant piece of shit and the way he's treated his ex-girlfriends will show it. By the way, the testimony they give is based on actual things the real Calvin did, so if you ever think that nobody could ever do those things, you'd be wrong, since they did actually happen. As for Caleb, you'll get more information in the next chapter. As much as you all want (or will tolerate) longer chapters, I felt this was a good place to end things. If you haven't already, you'll need to follow this story and have your notifications turned out. I'm going on vacation next weekend for Memorial Day, and have given y'all a few surprises next weekend. 😁

Just to let everyone know, I was recently diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia, which causes severe nerve pain. I'm being treated for it, but this could be a long process and chapters starting in two weeks will be touch and go depending on my pain levels, which right now are very high. I promise to finish this story when I can. I just ask for some patience and understanding.

“Mr. Parker, you may call your first witness,” Judge Arthur said with a complete and total lack of enthusiasm at the sight of the 20 women seated on Diego's side of the courtroom. Diego noticed that Ashley wasn't present for the first time since the proceedings began. He wondered whose idea it was for her to not attend. Diego guessed it was Calvin's since it fit his pattern of keeping everyone in the dark. “The Respondent calls Ms. Debra Jackson to the stand.” A tall, thin tomboy-

50/50 chance you say? Well, I either will or I won't on that one....

I possibly might potentially consider it...perhaps...we'll see...maybe....
