@akascrubber, I love your last comment above. How about "Love the One You're With"? Regardless of what happens back in LA, back in the real world, after COVID ends, Brant and Sky will always have this idyllic, magical, ideal moment in time with some of the best memories of their lives.

Although many of our scenes were not as sexy as that first scene, it seemed to set the stage for the entire 8-week shoot ahead. Even when we were not being sexual or even physically intimate, the level of loving connection between Brant and me was almost palpable every time we interacted. It seemed a bit magical and made filming every scene meaningful and exciting for me. Brant reacted in a similar fashion and I had a tough job convincing myself we were not falling in love for real, but only

There's not much I can say to that, @dboggs9700, except to say I am humbled by your comment. I love writing these characters and being able to share them with others is just amazing and wonderful! Thank you for reading and commenting. Hopefully, I will be able to get many more stories from my head to your computer screen as the years go by. Love you! Ken

Hi, @Leo622. I think your suggestion is a real money maker. We could pay down the national debt (pick your favorite spendthrift country). And, it's hilarious, too. I'd certainly add it to my collection in a heart-beat. Thanks for reading!

Thank you, @dboggs9700, @akascrubber, @chris191070, and @J J. I could barely breathe as I penned that chapter. Hoo-boy! I'm glad the heat came through to you guys.

The scene we filmed that first day was Marty and Aaron’s arrival at the cabin late in the afternoon. They unload the car (which the crew had driven up from LA), manage some rudimentary dinner, and settle in. After some drinks and showers, they wind up having sex on the living room sofa. The first parts of the scene were simple to film and allowed us to break for 90 minutes so we could return to the main cabin for a hearty meal prepared by our amazing chef. Both Brant and I ate sparingly sinc

@Philippe, don't worry about the story stopping before it has reached its end. I have already completed the story a few years back. I'm doing a major re-write as I go now, but it will be finished within a few more weeks. No doubt.

That seems like good advice, @Philippe. I think most people nowadays can tolerate love that isn't "a man and a woman" better than they can tolerate strong advocacy for positions the conservatives don't actually hold.

That first night in the lakeside cabin, I slept like a newborn. When I awoke, I felt as fresh and renewed as Spring. I was happy – exhilarated. After some stretching, 100 sit-ups, and 100 push-ups, I luxuriated in a hot shower for longer than necessary. I dried myself and went onto my balcony to greet the morning. The air was chilly, but the sun held the promise of warmth and happiness. While I was enjoying the morning view of the lake and the mountains, Brant stepped onto his ba

You have quite a way with words, @Philippe!

The cabins were beautiful. Everyone was simultaneously tired and excited when we arrived at Clair Eagle Lake that evening. We had time to get our room assignments from Tammy and unload the car and SUV before we met in the main dining room. Gianni produced a simple but tasty spaghetti and meatball dinner complete with antipasto salad and garlic bread within about 30 minutes of our arrival. As we chowed down around the big table, I couldn’t help but notice how beautifully Italian our sexy chef

Thursday the scenes with the mob execution and the chase through the mountains near Griffith Park were filmed. Weeks later I saw this delightful still of Marty running for his life to hide out from the killers. The whole sequence comprises the first 6 minutes of the production, managing to carry the movie credits and set up the plot without using any dialogue. It certainly established the movie as a nail-biting suspense flick while setting up a semi-nude and stunningly gorgeous Brant as a pow

I think you have hit a key question about the impact of becoming known as gay actors, @akascrubber. Of course, Sky has always been out during his career but is not very well known at this point. With the radically higher visibility brought to him through this film, there may be more and bigger reactions both positive and negative to him. For Brant it will be a huge deal if/when he becomes known as a gay man. I cannot think of another comparable coming out in Hollywood.

Thank you, @dboggs9700. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for saying so and for the comment about the photos. I'm so glad you discovered my work!

After David called, “Cut!” I was suddenly overcome with an unholy mix of embarrassment and pride as I realized we’d had an audience of four as Brant and I had taken our relationship to the next level, no matter what our relationship actually was. With a huge grin on his face, Rachoud stepped up beside us with a couple of terrycloth robes across his arm. He opened one to shield Brant from everyone’s eyes as he withdrew from me. Brant backed out with a faint plopping sound and slipped his a

Monday, Brant and I rehearsed our big finale, which (spoiler alert!) is Marty and Aaron safely home after the mobster has been killed. Back in their apartment after several months away, Aaron makes a celebratory dinner, which they eat on the balcony with the great view of the Hollywood Hills, including the iconic Hollywood sign. This is a big romantic scene and Marty tells Aaron how much he loves him and also how much he respects him for what he has done to get them through this terrifying tim

Haha! I promise no Village People stuff, although I confess I was a fan. I believe they didn't hit it until about 1979. The story runs until then, but I wasn't focusing much on music, so you are safe!

Thanks, @dboggs9700. At this point, Jody is just getting started with his sexy life at the university and on the team. What a team, huh! I'm glad you are enjoying the characters. They were a lot of fun to write and try to give backstories and personalities and sexual preferences to. Loved it!

When we entered the living room after the BJ, the mortified look on Dad’s face and the cat calls, whoops, and applause from the others in the room made it clear everyone knew what had happened in the bedroom. I’m sure I was as red-faced as Brant, but we gamely endured the heckling. In the middle of the ovation, Brant took my hand and led me in a bow. When the noise died down, he announced, “There will be no curtain call tonight,” which reanimated our audience for a couple of minutes. I w

Hi, @Albert1434. Thank you for sharing these poems of a cowboy's lonely life. I felt the deep loneliness when the cowboy chose the higher fatal path and again when the cowboy turned away from the piano player. I think the solitary life sometimes made them so isolated from other humans they lost their ability to understand relationships and the energy needed to start one or deal with the difficult. I think he chose to leave the bar rather than fight for his guy because he simply didn't know what to do except maybe shoot them. But he knew that wouldn't gain him anything. The freedom to chose your path with no one else in mind is a seductive pull on a man's heart. But if you choose too much freedom are you losing part of what makes you human? Thanks for bringing these thoughts to my mind with your lovely words, Albert!

Thank you very much @dboggs9700! I see you are going for the shorter ones first -- good idea! I hope you will enjoy the 3 high school swimmers and the college baseball player and the long COVID story. I'm currently uploading Role of a Lifetime, which might be my favorite but we are several weeks away from the conclusion. It's nearly 40 chapters so you might want to wait before starting on that one. It's always wonderful to have a new "fan" so thanks for reaching out! Cheers! Ken

@dboggs9700, thank you for reading this story and for commenting. I love this story and always enjoy knowing that someone else likes it. I'm sorry so many pictures are missing. I tried using AI to generate pictures here but they seem to disappear after some months. Some day I will go back through the story and try to add good photos back in. But, again, thanks for reactions and comments. They mean so much! Ken

When I arrived at Brant Kimber’s apartment a few minutes before 8 Friday morning, the door to the apartment was propped open while two lighting techs were moving some light poles and carrying cases through. I waited for them to clear the foyer and then walked into the living room, careful to keep my 6-feet social distancing from everyone. David Dawson saw me and waved me into the hallway that leads to Brant’s room. Ensconced in the master bathroom, the handsome Rachoud was applying make-u

On Wednesday, we rehearsed the first of our three big scenes set in the apartment. In this one, we have sex in the shower before Marty sees the execution. We stripped down to our briefs and rehearsed without the water on. This is the first scene in the chronology of the movie, which will probably get the movie off to a real sexy start. Brant warmed to the idea of being the dominant partner, pushing down on my shoulders to drive me to my knees and then pulling me up so he could spin
