  1. The spring thaw arrived in Wyoming with the force of a breaking dam. By April, the thick blankets of snow that had isolated Jack and Silas all winter began to melt, turning the valley floor into a rushing patchwork of green grass and roaring streams. The mountain air smelled of wet earth and pine needles. With the warmth came a new kind of labor. Their small herd of cattle, weak from the lean winter months, was beginning to calve. Jack and Silas spent dawn till dusk in the saddle, tracking

    Chapter 2

Just a note to say I am thoroughly enjoying all the comments you wonderful (and intelligent!) readers are posting. Thank you all so much. There are a total of 6 chapters (I got bored and ended it), so keep checking to see how the story evolves. I do not claim to be the author of this drivel -- I wouldn't publish it in this condition, for sure. I'm more like a producer (as in movies) maybe? Anyhow, as I said in the Prologue, it's simply an experiment. But it is rather fun, I think. Gotta go work on a sex scene for Another Role of a Lifetime. 😋
  3. The road to Wyoming was long, arduous, and thick with the dust of a thousand miles, but for Jack and Silas, the frontier had transformed from a lonely expanse into a shared kingdom. After collecting their hard-earned pay at the railhead in Abilene, they said their goodbyes to Miller and the rest of the trail crew. Under the cover of a crowded saloon and a cloud of cigar smoke, they slipped away unnoticed. They packed their gear, bought two sturdy pack mules, and pointed their horses north t

    Prologue

I agree @dboggs9700. I found this an interesting little time-filler, but I am concerned about the wider implications.
  5. For weeks I have been diligently working on my own story in the old-fashioned way, writing, editing, re-writing, etc. One afternoon I had completed a chapter of my own story and didn't feel inspired to go on. But I had some time allocated to writing. So, I decided to try to answer my own question about how well AI can write porn. What you will read in this short series is the exact results produced from a series of prompts I used with my generic Google AI generator program. I think it is ca
  6. The midday heat of the Texas panhandle pressed down like a hot blacksmith’s iron. A cloud of red dust, kicked up by three thousand head of longhorn cattle, hung thick in the air, coating everything in a gritty, sweat-stained film. Jack Callahan rode drag at the rear of the herd, a bandana pulled tight over his nose and mouth. His eyes, sharp and a striking shade of flint gray, tracked the movement of the stubborn steers through the haze. Jack was twenty-eight, built lean and hard from a dec
  7. I've been curious about how well AI can write porn. So, I decided to try it. Here is the 10,000 word story it produced, I think most readers of Gay Authors will find this an interesting experiment. Please, check it out.

    Chapter 6

I'm so glad to hear that, @Carybr! I enjoy adding suitable photos to all the chapters, so I hope you will now be able to enjoy them, too! Thanks for being with us on this epic!

    Chapter 6

Hi @Carybr. When I checked the posted version, I still see all the photos. That makes me think the issue is somehow on your end. Has anyone else viewed this chapter and not seen photos? Please let me know if that's the case. I hope you can find the problem, @Carybr. Are you seeing photos in other chapters?

    Chapter 35

Dear @Leo622, @akascrubber, @VBlew, @Richian, @dboggs9700, @quietguy49, @chris191070, @Modified Cub, @Gary L, and everyone who has commented on this story as it has been posted: I've never had so much positive feedback to the ramblings of my wanton mind. You have given me so many wonderful moments in reading your very kind thoughts and often intriguing ideas that my internal drive to create these stories is now soaring in the clouds. Hopefully, I will be able to draw strength and creativity from these thoughts and ideas. I hope I will be able to turn out many more stories that will bring you wonderful readers great pleasure and maybe some interesting "new" ideas to ponder. I am hard at work on the sequel to Sky and Brant's story. I estimate I'm about 80% of the way but I want to complete it before I start posting so I can post it as rapidly as this site allows. Thanks again. I am so humbled by your generous comments. Have a wonderful summer! With Great Affection, Kenneth Kirk

    Chapter 35

Five Months Later July 2, 2021, was going to be the best day of my entire life. I just knew it. It was my wedding day. The date Brant and I would celebrate every year for as long as God gives us life. Even though it was a Friday, we opted for a late afternoon wedding by the side of Mom and Dad’s pool with the minister and the wedding party in the gazebo and the intimate wedding party spread out below us in clusters according to people’s pandemic isolation bubbles. It made for a s

    Chapter 34

Two Months Later January 2021 brought mixed emotions to me. On the one hand, we were nearing the end of the filming for Stronger Than Ever and I was very enthusiastic about the eventual quality of the film. It seemed to me destined to be a great drama that would endure the test of time. On the other hand, rehearsals for South Beach Shenanigans began immediately after New Year’s with filming on location in Miami Beach beginning on January 15. So, Brant was off to Florida on the 16

    Chapter 33

David Dawson, through his assistant Tammy, had been keeping us informed with a weekly email to update us on the status of post production on Laying Low, but the day before Thanksgiving, the message was an inquiry to see if Brant, Dad, and I would be available for a pre-screening of the film on the afternoon of December 12 with a Christmas dinner to follow. Fortunately, we were all available, so the studio made the arrangements. The day of the screening and party, Brant and I lazed around

    Chapter 32

Mom's appearance on Hollywood Weekly with Juanita Montez went quite well. Their agreement was that the segment would strictly focus on the effects of the COVID lockdown on the life of Rachel Hughes and Juanita kept to that agreement perfectly. They talked about stopping the filming process in the middle of an episode of the show, the adjustment of going from a hard-working major TV star's schedule to the life of leisure, the effect on family life, and Mom's expectations for getting back to wor

    Chapter 31

Dinner with Mom, Dad, and Brant was fun and enlightening as we talked about the status of work after 6 months of Hollywood shutdown. Mom’s show, Beauty Pageant, was anticipating a return to production in early September. They’d altered some scripts for the first few episodes in order to allow them to film without large groups, as you tend to have at a beauty pageant, of course. It was all somewhat tentative, but the producers assured cast and crew they would be ready to go as soon as re

    Chapter 30

When he came over to swim the next day, Brant was quite well dressed for a swim date. When I opened the front door, he looked like a summertime icee to me in his light-weight seersucker jacket. I smiled and said in a sultry voice, “You look good enough to eat, babe!” He laughed. “Umm,” he said thoughtfully. With a twinkle in his dark eyes, he said, “Okay.” “Come on inside then.” He stepped into my body for a hug and a kiss. Damn, that felt really good! I took h

    Chapter 29

Life settled quickly into a much slower pace than our time spent filming at Clair Eagle Lake. The first few days, I was unsure how to handle myself. What did I do all day before? Before Laying Low. Before Brant. We usually texted a few times a day and often talked once in the afternoon and once before bedtime, so I felt secure in our feelings for each other. However, after being together almost 24-7 for 7 weeks, I missed the visual interactions with him – his handsome face, his sexy body,

    Chapter 28

Thursday morning, Kenny and Max loaded up all the cameras into the van while Cole and Rita added their sound equipment to the mix. Over our waffles, David told us to plan for a bit of a party at dinner. After breakfast the camera and sound crew all disappeared with the van and the director to get more scenic shots and record some of the sounds in the forest to use as incidentals for weaving the scenes together and building a strong visual and aural experience for the audiences. Brant and

    Chapter 27

Brant and I, along with Cole and Max, took our normal run on Monday morning. We don’t usually talk much while running, but both the crew members were still rather effervescent in their comments about our interview so there were many remarks about how erotic and sexy our scenes have been. I wasn't entirely sure, but I thought either of them would say yes immediately if offered a BJ or a butt to fuck. After the run and our showers, we went to the main cabin for breakfast and encountered sev

    Chapter 26

I ignored the chirping of my cell phone as I stared open-mouthed at Brant. “I cannot believe you said all that and even kissed me!” He chuckled. “God, I haven’t had that much fun not involving my dick in years!” I laughed. “You realize 99% of the world now thinks you’re gay, right?” “Gay for you, my dear, not for just anyone.” “Yes. By the way, you were so sweet!” “I was being very truthful in what I said.” “I know, babe. That’s why it means so much to me.” My

    Chapter 25

Believe it or not, Brant and I had some non-sexual scenes to film on Friday and Saturday. The whole time was fun and relaxed as we came nearer to the end of the filming. I purposely didn’t think about the end of the shoot because I knew life would seem boring and sterile after this. Of course, we were all anticipating the appearance of Brant and me on Hollywood Weekly Sunday at 8 p.m. We had a relaxed and restful day which included a short meeting with David and the producers via a Zoom

    Chapter 24

Time flowed like molasses in Antarctica for me as we moved through Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday while I waited for my next scene with Brant. He and I spent an hour or so alone on our balcony each evening and that was time for us to catch up on mundane topics such as how that day’s shoot had gone or what the others were doing as well as to build some tentative future for ourselves. I wasn’t convinced that Brant had turned gay for me, so felt that whatever romantic relationship we might have, it

    Chapter 23

The next morning was Saturday, but Brant and I were up at our usual 6:00 time. I was very tempted to snuggle with him in the warm cocoon of my bed, but soon thought better of it. We had stuff to do. After a warm hug (no kiss – morning breath), I sent him to his room to get ready for our jog. “What, no morning blow-job?” he protested. “Not today, but maybe when we’ve wrapped the shoot and are back in L.A.” He grinned and rubbed the stiffy filling out those cute briefs. “There’s

    Chapter 22

@Philippe, thank you for this very intriguing thought process. Although I am not Bi (Gold Star Queer here), I tend to think there are many variations on Bi. After all it is everything between a Kinsey 0 and a Kinsey 6, isn't it? So, I think some men are basically attracted to M and W more or less equally, some lean more in one direction or another, and some are open to sex with whomever they find attractive or whomever they love. Sometimes I think this last orientation would be the best. Anyhow, I do have an idea of Brant's place on the scale, but I don't want to share it now because I would like each reader to find his (or her) own perception concerning Brant. I wish we could get a dozen of our fellow readers together in a room to discuss this topic. I think it would be a very interesting evening. BTW, I'd love to hear from some of Brant's Bi fans on this. I'm not too old to learn some of the subtleties and nuances of Bi-dom. Thanks again, @Philippe!
