Good speculation, I like that! When Zal and the others captured Plink, she admitted to being on the payroll of the Shadow Cross. Whether that is the whole truth will be revealed in time. Plink seemed to be the type of character who is ultimately loyal only to herself (and her little brother). I know what you mean, I have read a lot of Drizzt stories too 😃

He is certainly not secure for Andiol Empire. Not least because his mentor is Cors, one of the traitors of the Brotherhood. More about Rezak and his plans will be revealed in the course of this book. In the next chapter, however, we will return to see what Josel and Zdain are up to 🙂
