    Story Updates
You know the game, right? You make a plan, you maybe even announce it, and then you get nothing of said plan done.
Yeah. My general plan was to write on Emmett and Finley so we get their story done, but hey, after stary at a blank page for half an hour I closed the document and turned to other things.
For example to our cursebreaker Dust, who got some updates. But also to Riley and Cedric. Yes, moth and butterfly are still fluttering around. In their story is a lot of stuff happening inspired by happenings of the real life around me, they regularly pop back into my mind. I did some rereading and wrote half a chapter (maybe less) and I do want to continue there.
And now that I said it, for sure I open the document in a minute and my mind goes blank.
Apart from that I was daydreaming a lot about chapters for various stories, many of them a long way from now. Or scenes from stories which I probably will never write. Yay. But at least I didn't get new story ideas altogether, leaving aside a little story for the Quincefield Chronicles.
    Read you soon!

    Story Updates
Okay, so, phew. Milestone for Emmett and Finley is reached! And of course I once was "oh but with 25 chapters it should be done". Yeah, sure. Seems like I'm incapable of short(er) stories. Anyway. There are two more stories waiting for them in my mind and following that I have the idea of a fourth one featuring another couple (one of the guys we already know, wanna guess?). But I'm sure as hell not start straight away with part 2 as soon as I'm done. The Drama Queen has a cooldown. (Or my nerves on that matter have.)
    So, what to do after?
There is the beginning of "The Choice of the Chosen" waiting teary-eyed to be continued, but dear Beckett and Finley are a bit too similar in some stuff. Gimme a break from plush-guys.
In my files are already 2 chapters of "The Cow-Boy" sitting and waiting, another sweet story in urban fantasy style. This one is truely meant to be a short-story, I really hope I can keep it down to at most 10 chapters. (Just make the chapters longer, what's your problem?) Yeah.
Then there is a dark high fantasy werewolf story with 3 (?) chapters somewhere, which need to be re-written and thoroughly dusted.
For a change there would be even the beginnings of some horror-mystery-something, though as so often, the spark was short lived. Never went into this genre before, so I'm a bit careful on that front.
And of course I have another story with dragons, though in this post-apocalyptic fantasy dark mix-of-a-lot-of-stuff they are the evil ones. Dark and dirty and I'm still not sure whether there will be a happy end or not.
The Quincefield Chronicles are something different, though. Part 3 and 4 are planned and have already a cover photo, but after that... well there has to be a lot more, cause you don't expect Dust and Kellen find each other just like that, right? And Nathan needs his better half and of course Violet too. Lots to do over there.
So, yeah, those thoughts are already spinning in my mind, but I guess till I finished "Ink and Flowers" there are already two or three new plot ideas ripe enough to be considered 😅 I'm the horrible master of the unfinished works in progress...

    general news
    Hi there! It's me!
This first entry shall be more about introducing myself. So, yeah. I'm German, meaning English is only my second language and please, dear native speakers, have mercy. I'm a 90s kid, raised kinda strict by parents who love books (mom crime and historical stuff, dad sci-fi and military-themed stuff) and therefore I got books for every opportunity.
My first story I wrote when I was 8 or 9, about a baby rooster named Chester, who's lonely because apart his dad he's the only boy around. That was that, till I got my first laptop at 14, though back then, for the sake of my friends, I wrote mostly fanfictions. (Anyone knowing the band Tokio Hotel? Yeah. That. *shudder*)
    And then... it kinda evolved.
I have a word document of 20 or more pages with short story summaries, and a folder full of documents with more detailed summaries and dramatis personae (I love those) and more than a dozen notebooks on my desk with notes and chapter details and background scribbles. And different other folders with stories which are mostly only one or two chapters into writing.
Cause: I'm the master of the WIPs.
I'm a theorist. I like the planning. Mapping out. Detailing out. Creating little scenes and moments. Build worlds and religions. Drawing maps. Then I write a chapter or two or maybe even three and then my attention snaps to the next interesting plot spark in my mind. It's a vicious cycle, I'll tell'ya.
But a positive point is this community here. Seeing reactions and reading comments, seeing actual interest, is a big motivation. ❤️
Another trait: I always miscalculate the length of a story. "Ink and Flowers"? Oh well, maybe 20 chapters...? More like 30, thank you. "Jewel in the Dirt" I first aimed for 35-40, raised my expectation to 50, then 60 and then said screw all the plans and well *sniff* it's about 80... For "White Sheets" I'm not even starting a diagnosis, I'm at 40 written chapters and for sure it will double.
So. Everyone who's following me or part of my stories: you're mostly in for a long ride. I can't do short.
In this blog I want to empty my thoughts about stories, progress, new ideas, changes and everything that goes with it.
    Thank you for your attention
