    No. They don't have a requirement to serve in the CONFED Navy as all corporations are expected to be available to be called in time of war. Since there hasn't been a war in over 6oo stanyears. That's why he's allowed to attend.

    What did I get myself into here? I’ve been doing nothing, but take exams for days after I spent two days taking my Captain’s Boards. I didn’t know any of the three Captain’s that sat my oral exam and that started at 0800 hours and finished at 1800 hours. I felt like I gave birth to a midshipman by the time I finished.
