    Chapter 1

Thank you for that suggestion! I've used Grammarly for work related stuff but never thought about using it for creative writing. Working on a story right now, and will enable it and see what suggestions it provides.

Thank you for the kind words! It means a lot to me.

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.

    Chapter 1

You are right; good friend of mine is closeted and it's driving him crazy. He's not willing to meet up with other guys because he's still married, and doesn't want to cheat on his wife. Some of us have difficult paths to follow. Appreciate your kind words! I'm working on another story that is sort-of a biography but a lot of fiction added to it. Deals with coming out later in life.

    Chapter 1

Thanks - I think I've done that a few times (I think)! I'll pay more attention to that. I hadn't even noticed after re-reading it!
  6. The Beach House brings together a group of lifelong friends for one final summer before life takes them in different directions. They've shared love, loss, and self-discovery, but now their bonds are tested as they prepare to move on—some to new cities, others to new careers. As the weekend unfolds, laughter and nostalgia give way to unresolved feelings, especially for Michael, who secretly loves Jason. Meanwhile, Jeremy faces uncertainty about his future with his boyfriend, Eric. In this last summer together, they must confront what’s next for their friendships and lives.
  7. This would be our last summer together—one last chance to hold onto the friendships that had shaped who we were. We had practically grown up side by side, seeing each other through the messiness of coming out, the heartbreaks, the nights when the world felt too big to handle. You could never ask for a better group of friends… but, as quickly as we had begun, it was slowly coming to an end. Most of us were done with university, and we were finally stepping into the rest of our lives. That meant s
  8. Andrew and Eric, wrapped in the warmth of a sunset, share a quiet moment together. As their easy conversation shifts, Eric asks about Andrew's past, hoping to learn more. Reluctant at first, Andrew finally opens up, recounting a vulnerable and intimate story about his first love—an encounter with a closeted athlete that shaped his view on relationships and self-worth. As Andrew reveals the bittersweet lessons of his past, the bond between him and Eric deepens. Together, they reaffirm their commitment to building an honest and loving future, unburdened by the ghosts of yesterday.
  9. The room was bathed in a soft, golden light as the sun began to set, casting long, lazy shadows across the bed. Andrew lay on his back, his arm around Eric, who rested his head comfortably on Andrew’s chest. The steady rhythm of their breaths filled the quiet space, blending seamlessly with the faint hum of the world outside. They had fallen into one of those effortless conversations, the kind that drifted from topic to topic without needing direction. Eric absentmindedly traced circles on

    Chapter 1

Hmmm... interesting idea. Thinking about it, maybe there is a way for Dan and Ryan to reconnect. I hate seeing a good relationship go sideways, even though it does happen IRL. I'm over exaggerating the dependency on social media, and sites like TT. I've never been on OF but can guess what goes on there.

    Chapter 1

Thanks - yeah, as I re-read the story I see some areas that I could tighten things up. I'll keep that in mind for the next one and perhaps "fire" my editor/reader (he's a friend - not a professional; I'm joking, of course).

    Chapter 1

Thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed the story.

    Chapter 1

Hmmm... as I re read this, I see what you are saying. Perhaps I was a bit to abrupt in ending the story and not exploring their chemistry a little more. I will keep this in mind. Thank you so much!
  14. When Robert returns to Vancouver for a business trip, he unexpectedly reconnects with Zach, an old high school friend now working as a barista at a popular coffee shop. What starts as casual catching up leads to deeper conversations, forcing both men to confront the missed opportunities, regrets, and unresolved emotions of their past. As Robert begins to explore his long-hidden feelings, and Zach tries to heal from personal loss, the lines between friendship and something more begin to blur. Can they seize this second chance, or will the past prove too difficult to overcome?
  15. Part 1 - Catching up on Life I absolutely love Vancouver. I’d move back in a heartbeat, but after finishing university, I made the decision to head out to Toronto. My life is there now—my friends, my work, and for someone young, the nightlife’s better. Don’t get me wrong, Vancouver is a great city. It’s where I grew up, where I came out, and where I was accepted without question. Living in a progressive city has its advantages. But coming back? It’s always nice. I get to catch up with o
  16. Filtered Lives is a deeply personal exploration of love, trust, and the destructive force of social media obsession. Dan and Ry’s relationship was already facing the challenges of the pandemic, with Ry’s career as a dental assistant upended by the lockdown. But when Ry stumbles into the world of social media fame , what begins as a creative outlet quickly spirals into something far more consuming.
  17. PART 1 - TIK, TOK–BOOM! The pandemic changed everything in an instant. One day, Ry and I were living our usual lives—work, gym, grabbing drinks with friends—and the next, the world was locking down. It didn’t seem real at first. We’d heard the news about this virus, but it felt far away. A lot of things do, until they aren’t. I still remember the day it became real for us. It started small. More people called in sick at work, and face masks started appearing on the bus. At first, I bru
