  1. I think he might too. Don't ask me why, but there was something mentioned way back when near the beginning that led me to believe that Becker would somehow end up with Chris Baker. If I had the time, I'd go back to try to pin down what put that burr under my saddle, but it will probably be just something mentioned in passing and will end up having little import. We'll just have to wait and see, won't we?
  2. Loved the description of Mr. Crawley. It's as if the spirit of a Modern Major-General had inhabited your pen. I've got a way to go to catch up to everyone else, but I'm looking forward to it.
  3. Dig it? All I can say is..."Groovy!"
  4. I'm guessing that's the original jersey from the Red Team. Am I right? (Don't mind me; I'm a sentimental old coot.) I just found Broken last week and I've been checking every day for new chapters. Yesterday I found the story at the Dude's place, so I guess I'm ahead of schedule now. Or am I behind? (I get so confused lately.) Chapters may be short but each one is positively riveting. Needless to say, I'll be on the lookout. Carl
  5. I like the pace so far, a Deep South, langourous kind of pace, which should be expected considering the circumstances. New-found freedom. New, hopefully obtainable, eye candy. Feeling out new friends (no pun intended). Of course, this generation has the advantage of social media, unlike "back in the day". I'm really look forward to how the story progresses.
