I think that I started reading this once a bit ago, but I've read through the entire thing in the last three nights. Incredible. At this point, I need more process time to craft a response better than that, but that said, wonderful work. Has the story reached its end, or shall we expect more?

Read this as soon as it came out, but waited a little while to comment/review. Great job with this one, Adam. Simply beautiful. Like always, you conveyed the fullness of the emotion. No punches were pulled about Matt's pain and anguish, but love and wholeness seemed to emanate from the lines- the love and wholeness for which Andy and Matt have both been longing. Thank you for continuing to share with us.

I think you yourself hit the secondary reasoning for the trend, Adam. The story is "essentially the story about the love of one guy for another guy." Most everyone in here, despite our general knowledge of the outcome, is pulling for a Matt-Andy fairy-tale ending. In that light, sex with women is just a point of dissonance for readers in getting to that desired result.

I don't think that any of us should ever expect you to apologize, Adam. In following your story, I've never known you to write anything without purpose. Write on. And by the way, congratulations on the new addition to your family. Enjoy that time with that precious new life.

The thing that intrigues me most about Andy is the contradiction between his determination not to screw up again like he did with Matt and his subsequent inability to confront said screw up and give the relationship a second chance, when Matt obviously continues to send out the probe that he is willing (Holy long sentence). My heart has constantly yearned for Andy to make amends with Matt, but obviously we'll see what happens as the story continues to unfold. Thank you so much Adam for your work and willingness to share this story. I've followed it from the roots, re-starting it once it joined here, and it has certainly awakened some things in my heart and mind that I'd been previously suppressing.
