  1. Michael is about to smite Lucifer for facilitating Man's fall.. He asks the fallen Archangel why had he done this.. to which Lucifer replies..
  2. Sword in hand.. he would that he could smite him.. but asked.. "Why would you do it Lu?" He Smiled ruefully and said.. "You know the sad part Michael?" The knot in the throat may subside with time and practice at avoidance But ever so often when the wind blows.. and brings with it the vague fragrance of that one Man u loved every bastion you create to make him a bygone collapses. it becomes a living reality the aching heart yearns for the one you havn't quite lost yet y

    Mirrors

Often It becomes difficult to tell yourself apart from the person you have given your all to. The "other" ceases to exist. Then comes the fall. Or is it an ascension???

    Chapter 1

An Obituary by Two I looked at myself Does it really go to waste? Its already dug All that's left is the lowering, Of the last thing that I will ever pay for. Windy earth, flies from my fingers to rest on the cold wood I guess its goodbye to you after all Seen you in the mirror all my life When I loved you, They called it vanity When I helped you, I was selfish. When I hurt you, they called me a Masochist Now I wonder, Did I really love you so
  5. Hello Duncan. This is in response to the entire EW series. Needless to say, excellent work. Obviously you have received a lot of well deserving appreciation. My explicit thanx to Sharon for urging you to be here on GA. The story develops through every chapter, gradually, exhaustively. There have been some discussion about David's reaction to Scott and vice-versa. There is jus one thing I'd like to say here, NEED and WANT are two very different things. David has both. As long as Scott's there David feels secure, both his need and want is satisfied. I see completely what you tried to envision in the good-bye sex scene. Its a last gesture of intimacy. Scott's spent quite some time with him to be able to see his vulnerabilities. Scott's uncle points it out with emphasis. Yet in the readership in general, I find a lack of empathy for David. For some odd reason, most people choose to ignore this part just like Scott. David is as vulnerable as Luc, if not more. What I mean to say is, not much light has been shed on David per se. He is not some slutty character who is incapable of loyalty. He is, according to my sensibility, a person who chooses to fight his constant persecution, but cannot do it alone. High School, you're right, is not the best place for a character like him. Obviously the narrative has gone way ahead from this , but since David continues to be a point of reference for Scott when it comes to analysis of his deeper feelings, Maybe fleshing out DAvid's character would be a good Idea. There are quite a few similarities between Luc and David. These similarities can proove to be useful if explored. Essentially because Luc's ex had stark similarities with Scott. It is one of the primary reasons why Luc falls for Scott. Do give the Ideas some thought. At the end of it, you are the author. I, as a reader must go with whatever you deem fit. Thank You. Kaanya
  6. Ok, look at the bright side, you didn't have to see it die. Whats even better, its now somebody's "1st car". So, long after its mechanical utility is over, it'll remain a cherished memory of at least two people. Not a lot of cars have that kina luck.
  7. Evil??? I'd like to see that! But yeah, thanks for the heads up.
  8. Thank you, BTW storm is my most favorite of all x-men characters. well atleast as far as her abilities go!
  9. Thanks kevin, I hope this works, I'm posting this just as you'v mentioned
  10. thank you david!
  11. Can anybody give me a mail id i can use to get in touch with Lucas? lucswriting@yahoo.com does not seem to b working.
  12. Self service dearest, is the best service out there. Puns intended! LoL Thanks 4 d info. This is my tenth post. All for you my Lord! But then I'd bow only to the Dark Lord "L"
  13. Thank you so very much for the clarification else I believe "old bob" and I would have been with locked horns for quite some time, :2hands: him being an elder member, he would definitely be having the upper hand but I wouldn have given up till he beat me through application of pure logic, explaining why exactly I should be any less than him . It'll take me time to get to know all these details by myself. It feels great to be be a part of this family . I'll definitely go through the links you mentioned.
  14. 'old bob', please do not be too harsh on me I understand the "rite of passage" e.t.c are important steps to initiation. I'm all for it. Somehow I cannot digest the idea of "hazing". Thought cannot really be graded. Since everyone here in GA come across to me as thinking individuals, I believe all of us understands the value of the thinking\reasoning mind. Sadly though in the planet we call earth, the numbers of such minds are going dangerously low of late. Besides dont we already have enough "straight" people judging us for what we are, out in the world? (personally I believe such people are the really crooked ones). Anyway, I remember this wonderful quotation that came along with Sir_Galahad's message. WE do have very few religion actually being practiced that teaches us to love each other. Allow me to do my part, Thank you for the wonderfully warm welcome message. Glad to be part of the clan. Please take no offense, for none is intended
  15. Sir_Galahad, first impressions are critical, but I assure you I'm a very peaceful person, but ya I do call a spade a spade. But maybe your one-liner does describe one aspect of me. Thank you for your acknowledgement.
  16. Well Mr. Beast Thanx for the moral uplift but see the problem is, I have a default setting\ a structural flaw, if you wana call it that, of having violent "Power Surges" if anybody attempts to brand me in anyway. I'm a human being, not a product. But i guess you made your point, Thanx agn!
  17. Hello everybody, I know newcomers shouldn't exactly start off with things They dont like. It kina leaves a bad 1st impression. I feel though its important to be true to oneself, People should know me for who I am, then have the liberty of assessing me instead of trying to understand me through a Hi\Hello message. I understand getting to know people takes time, and nobody really has a unidimensional personality. So here it is, I'm new here, the many options at GA can be very confusing, and ya, whoever coined the term "newbie" for new members of GA, I have an earnest request to make to you: please tell me Why did you not choose any other term? This one phonetically sounds like "a new acquisition" instead of a pleasant addition to the group. Please take no offence fellow members, these are simply my personal views. The best part is, I'm uber-happy to be a part of such a "community" (as somebody put it); that has such a diverse and creative membership. Thank you very much for having me here.
  18. Well Bk dearest, Interesting first try. I'm sure you will develop in this form of expression too. Very honestly put, I'd dare to differ a little bit with Kevin. Hope he dosn mind. Questioning the metaphysical reality\ fallacy (as the case may be) of existence does serve its purpose in defining identity. Somehow I feel this poem would have rendered itself a lot more vibrantly if the existential issues pertaining to the reason behind the poet's duality of identity was touched upon. I hope I'm making sense.
  19. Hey D! Read this story and sent you a mail with some ideas about "whispers" and "darkness" along with some doubts requiring clarification. Please go through it and let me know what you think
  20. Hello Luc, Was going through your story. It provoked a lot of passion and thought. So I sent you a mail at lucswriting@yahoo.com. Please read it and get back to me at you earliest convenience. I thank you most for posting this story. It gripped me in ways more than I can define in terms of words.
