    Hello Everyone,
     
    First I want to apologize for my long absence. As I have said in man posts and conversations these last few years I have, in addition to working full time, have been taking care of an elderly, sick, relative. This relative passed away in February. Since then I have been assisting my mother and aunt in getting her final affairs settled.
     
    Despite the sadness of m relatives passing my life has reached a period of calm and I am happy to say that I have started writing again, slowly but surely.
     
    I plan to focus on Indiana Summer until the story is complete, then Max and Josh, and while I do not yet have a firm date as to when I will have a new chapter out to you it is my goal to have one within the next month.
     
    I want to encourage you all to please go and mark the Indiana Summer Discussion thread for updates as I will be making posts there concerning the story and my progress in writing.

    Further Delays

    Hello All,
     
    I know some of you have been looking forward to my upcoming chapter of Indiana Summer for a very long, unreasonably so, time. I want to apologize for all of the delays and set backs. I recently suffered yet another one in the form of a computer glitch that seriousl corrupted the file I was working. I have been having to reconstruct the chapter bit by bit from memory.
     
    I have also been pulling mandatory over time hours at work and getting very little sleep. I know I have said this before but i will say it again. Indiana Summer WILL CONTINUE!!!! Just as soon as I am able. I actually plan to focus on this story exclusively until it is complete.
     
    I want to thank you all for sticking with me. I promise that it will not be in vain.

    Hello Everyone,
     
    As I mentioned in my last post I have been on a hiatus due to family issues and work issues. It saddens me to say that I am going to have to extend it.
     
    In addition to working full time I am also a care giver to elderly grandmother. Unfortunatly her health has taken a further down turn and much of my free time hs devoted to her assisting my mother,( who is her primary caregiver), in taking care of her. I won't go into too many details but she will be having major surgery in the coming week.
     
    I am writing every chance I can and I had hoped to have the newest chapter of Indiana Summer out this month but I do not believe that I am going to be able to do so.
     
    Family, of course, wil always come first but I cannot help but feel bad that it is taking me so long to get a chapter out. I know there are many of you that enjoying reading my stories as much as I enjoy writing them it pains me that it takes me so long to get work out for you.
     
    I hope and pray that yall will stick with me. I will be back, my stories will continue. I promise.

    Hiatus.

    Hello all,
     
    As any of you who follow my stories know I've been very erratic in my posting this last year. This is mainly due to the fact that I have been living with my Grandmother in order to take care of her. I am sorry to say that on Thanksgiving she had a minor fall and her mobility has been set back. Due to her difficulties getting around I've been having to assist her more than usual.
     
    Also due to short staffing at work I've been mandated to work overtime since the last part of November and for the rest of December.
     
    Working six night a week and caring for my grandmother during the day have left me with very little to no time to write. Because of this I've decided that I need to take a short break.
     
    January should bring some changes, both at home and at work so I am going to use December to take a small Hiatus.
     
    I swear that Indiana Summer and Max and Josh WILL continue and WILL be finished.
     
    I swear that I will not disappear and leave my work unfinished.
     
    I am going to take this time off and use it to catch on replying to the backed up reviews on my stories and attempt to return to being more active here at GA.
     
    If any of you would like to you are free to send me messages here or on my email account and I will be more than happy to send you emails when the stories will be updated.
     
    I also want to encourage you to follow the discussion threads for Indiana Summer and Max and Josh as I will also post updates there as well.
     
    I promise that this is not a goodbye. I will be back, and so will my work.

    Hey yall,
     
    I wanted to take some time to stop in and drop and entry. I want to apologize for my overly erratic posting habits (even for me). Instead of boring yall with the details I've give you the bare bones.
     
    I was living with a relative who (unknowingly to me) was going through the eviction process. So when they were kicked out so was I and I spent two weeks packing, storing and eventually moving with my grandmother. My grandmothers health has taken a bit of a downward turn so I'm spending a lot of my time helping to take care of her, as well as working full time.
     
    To make this even shorter, I'm sorry that things are taking me so long. I'm working as fast and as often as I can. It is my plan to have the newest chapter of Indiana Summer out within the next 7 to 10 days. I cant promise any sort of time line after that. it is my hope that I can get things balanced out in the next month or so to make my posting more efficient.

    Hello everyone.
     
    As anyone who have read my work knows I'm behind and my posting habit have become even worse than they were before.
     
    I can offer no concrete reasons for this, it's true that things have not been the most ideal for me or my family the last year but because a few messages and conversations that I've had recently that I've allowed the issues too much leeway.
     
    I'm working as hard and fast as I can to get things set on a better track, one that I intend to keep up with at all costs. Coming to GA and sharing my work has been one of the best experiences of my life and I'm sorry if I have let any of my reader's down.
     
    Once again I am sorry for all the delays and I look forward to trying to get back into the community.

    This might be in bad form or something to the effect but this is the only way that I could think of to let everyone know the situation.
     
    Some of you might know that my mother and I have been living with her boyfriend. What you don't know is that he has been sick, badly, these last few weeks and has passed away today. Because of this the next few months are going to be difficult here. We won't be able to stay where we are, can't afford the rent, so we'll be working on moving soon. Because of the money situation we'll likely be staying with some of my relatives for awhile.
     
    Because of this I don't know what my net situation is going to be. I'll be writing as often as I can but I'm going to be pretty busy for awhile. I hope yall will stick with my work, I'll post and update as I can.

    Hey yall,
     
    Due to circumstances beyond my control it might be a few weeks more than usuall before I can get some chapters out to you, or really fulfill any of my duties or commitments. My Mother has decided to allow her boyfriend (who does pay half of our rent) to let his Daughter, son in law, and their four kids; stay here for a few weeks. These are very ignorant and slightly bigoted people. Due to the fact that they can't be trusted near our laptops (past experiance with porn induced virus') I won't be online very much and will have ZERO privacy while they are here.
     
    I promise I will write, edit, and beta as often as possible. I am sorry for this inconvience, no one is more upset about this than I am.

    Hey yall,
     
    This is something that has been bugging me recently. I wonder if there is anyone out there that has ever missed anyone that they have enver met, and heres why I ask.
     
     
    My mothers dad died when she was just six or seven years old so it is pretty obvious that I have never met the man, but since I was I was a little boy I've missed him. As far back into my childhood as I can remember I've wanted to know him, and that was before I even knew anything about him or his life, I knew he had existed and I wanted him, pure and simple.
     
    That desire has grew steadily over the years into something of an obbsession. I have dug through my Grandmothers photo albums for pictures of him, talked to my Aunt and had hes druge up as much information about as she could remember about and have even made plans to go to Kentucky this Summer and see his grave and try to talk to his little Sister *the last living member of his family beside his off spring* and I'm told she's half crazy.
     
    The point I am trying to make here is that while I accept that I am missing him, desperatly, I don't understnad why. I mean my fathers father died when I just a baby, infact it was his dieing wish that I be babtized in the Catholic church but I don't have this insane to desire to know him so why my mother Father?
     
    I feel as if visiting his grave is something that I don't just want to do but something that I NEED to do, almost as if I there is something that is pulling me there. No in my family really understands me on this, most infact think its foolish to get this hung up by a man that I never met but they don't get it, (not that I do either).
     
    I'm not even sure my Grandfather would like me if he were alive today, I'm a lot different than the sons he raised, a lot different than what was considered 'acceptable' back in his day. I like to think though that we'd have some stuff in common, he was an English teacher for part of his life and loved being out doors and English and Ecology are some of my favorite topic's and I love to go hiking and being outside.
     
    I guess I'll never really know for sure though.
     
     
    I seem to have rambled a bit here but I made my general point. Is it wierd to miss some on you've never known, has it ever happened to you?

    Don't ask why as I can't tell you myself but I have decided to start a blog. Only ever done this once on my myspace page (yes I STILL have Myspace.) so bear with me lol. I thought it would be funny to call this place Owls' Hoot's sorta like a play on the whole Twitter and tweets and ll that crud lol.

    Recent Delay

    Hello Everyone,
     
    I wanted to stop in and leave a quick message for everyone and I thought that this would be the most efficient way to do so.
     
    Do to a recent death in my family and some issues at work I have been unable to put pen to paper, as it were, since my most recent entry into Indiana Summer.
     
    While not as personally affected, (as crass as that sounds), by my uncles passing I have been taking up some extra responsibilities around the house and with my grandmother in order to ease some of the stress. There have also been some issues at work, (nothing job threatening), that I've had to work with which has kept me from writing there like I normally would.
     
    Thankfully things are begining to even out and I intend to start writing again by the first of the month. It is my intention to have a new chapter of Max and Josh out by/before the end of May.

    Hey Yall,
     
    I wanted to drop in and give everyone a quick update on what's going with me and my work, for those people who follow me.
     
    Some of you might know that I just started training for a new job, I'm training (basic hours) 9am to 5pm. However I might get out later than that and I also have *homework* that I have to do each night. Since I have to be up so early to commute to class I'm not getting much writing done so an update to Indiana Summer might take a little bit more time than usual. I really am sorry about that and I working as much as I can.
     
    Max and Josh's newest chapter is with Rush for editing but due to an allergic reaction she is having trouble with itchy watery eyes so she can't work like at all right now so please give us time lol.
     
    If you are wondering if something will take Lover's blinds' place in rotation I'll just tell you now, it will be filled.
     
    I've got several small stories in the works that might take it's place on a short term basis when they are ready. Also I will be expanding my Antho story 'Discoveries'. That is taking some time though so I hope you all can bare with me.
     
    Well that is what is going on, I figured that this was the best place for me to post an update on whats going on with my work.
     
    You'll be pleased to know that once I do finish training I'll only be working on the weekends so I'll have plenty of time to write.

    P.S After I do this training I'll have to train in my facility, I don't know yet whether or not this will interfere with my writing or not.
