The Whispering - 3. A Whispering Word

A Whispering Word
By J.A. Oshio

Glowing orbs, they came
Shining like stars in the night
And nothing was the same
The voices sung to me all right

With whispers of my love
As they led me away
Sometimes with a shove
Until the break of day

They speak of pain
Of calling in the dark
Of a blood stain
And I his last ark

I reach him at last
Broken in the dust
Has my time passed?
As I wipe away the rust

I hold him to me
As my tears fall
Until I can’t see
All I do is bawl

A hand reaches up
And a whispering word
Don’t cry my pup
I smile to what I heard

I must get help
But I must stay
I am such a whelp
Sitting in the gray

Oh look my dad
What have you done?!
You make me sad
And shattered my sun

Ouch.

Um heck, I think I just imagined that the three are related, overall a tale of woe.

That could be my imagination, for parts work, part are open to guess work, parts don't fit, so maybe that is my imagination playing games on me.

It's not till I read this one that it dawned on me and pieces began to slot together, but I didn't make a full picture.

Maybe that is what poetry is.

Still, made me sad when I read the final part. :(

Individually they don't make a full picture however I tried to keep them as a whole to form a story.

The Orb thing might have confused the issue a bit...

I tried to have the first one depict... the will to go on, that small voice that tells to you keep going... the second madness and fear, and the third Love and possibly desperation.... basically in the form of what i picture whispers in the Night being :D
