Hesitation - 1. Chapter 1: You Are

You Are

bye bugeye

You are

And it makes me

You are

And I choose

You are

Not here

And I am here

You are

And I

Have happiness

Covered in sadness

Ignore me

Turn away

Blind eye

Still it is a gift

This cherished

Moment

I open

You close

The world I see

Is painful wonder

Is joyful despair

Is of my choosing

As free as I am

Within this trap

As gone as you are

Outside this caress

I have this

This knowing inside

That I am better

For the giving

Of this

Scattered at your feet

The gifts I have

Left for thee

Is this truth

I carry now

What I have sought after

Is this the secret

That love is there

Everywhere

Even in no

Even in goodbye

Even in sorry

Even in never
