All My Dreams Pass Before My Eyes - 24. Chapter 24 Sailing

Carey’s eyes jerked open. He was in the same bed he’d gotten into the previous night. Early morning golden light streamed through the open bedroom door. Standing up, he saw that Randy’s place on the other side of the bed was vacant. He stumbled to the bathroom to pee. At first, the urine sputtered as it came out as if the tip of his penis was encrusted.

Did he have a wet dream last night? Or….? No. That wasn’t possible. He would have been awakened.

He tiptoed back into the bedroom, threw some sweatpants and a sweatshirt on, and went into the kitchen. Thank God! Randy had already made coffee. He poured himself a hot cup. Looking out to the lake, he saw Randy sitting in one of the Adirondack chairs just off the front of the deck. Sliding the door open, he walked out and down the couple of steps to where Randy was sitting. When he placed his coffee cup on the arm of the chair next to Randy, he looked up.

“G’morning!” Carey leaned down and kissed Randy on the mouth.

Randy accepted the kiss as he blankly said, “Morning breath.”

Carey slumped into the other chair and slung the mild insult back.

“Coffee breath.”

They sat without saying a word for several minutes as they sipped their coffees and gazed out onto the shimmering lake. The trees above and across the lake still held onto the warm glow of the rising sun. A small fishing boat occupied by two men far out in the lake sped across their field of view. From this distance, its outboard motor sounded like a buzzing mosquito. A nearby crow let out a warning, “Caw, Caw!”

Finally, Carey turned to Randy. “Wha-cha thinkin’ Lincoln?”

A long pause. Silence. Randy finally leaned his head back to look up at the rustling trees above.

“I’m thinkin’…we’re gonna have just the right amount of wind for a sail.” Sitting up and shaking his head like he was shrugging the moment away he said, “So, after breakfast let’s go to town and get some sandwiches and stuff for lunch. We’ll eat it on the boat.”

Carey got up. “Well. Let’s get this party started!”

“I’ll be with ya in a minute.”

After Carey got out of the shower, he opened a small bag containing his toothbrush and toothpaste. The little shell necklace Apollo had left for him fell out. He picked it up, turning it over in his hand. He remembered sticking it in that bag when he was packing up to go home that summer. Memories came flooding back. If Apollo was only here.

Brush teeth. Comb hair. He rubbed his hand across his face and chin, feeling a bit of stubble. Hard to see but he should have shaved. Oh well, he thought.

Town was busy on this Saturday morning. It had the geographical good fortune of being located in the middle of several lakes and at the intersection of two busy highways. “Town,” as everyone called it instead of its real name, had the typical array of gourmet and gift shops, a Christmas shop, and boutiques. Cabin chic filled the windows of a high end furniture and accessories store. A hardware store, a bustling sporting goods store, and a couple of restaurants completed the main street.

An amazing stroke of luck got them a parking spot just down the block from the deli. Walking in to the store, jammed wall-to-wall with customers, Randy yelled over the all the people in front of them to a man behind the high glass counter.

“Hey, Roscoe! Gimme a platter for two!”

An olive skinned, round faced burly man in a baseball cap with thick eyebrows and a black mustache, yelled back.

“You got it, boss!”

Carey admonished Randy. “Don’t you wait your turn?”

Randy laughed. “Don’t worry, he’ll take care of us in order.”

They eventually shuffled their way to the front. Carey watched Roscoe prepare their order. It included an amazing array of sandwiches.

“Did you invite the Kiwanis Club?” Carey asked half seriously. Randy laughed along with a couple of people standing nearby. After the sandwiches were piled onto a plastic platter, Roscoe scooped up a couple of handfuls of single portion potato salad and cole slaw containers, a stack of napkins, plastic utensils, and a couple of giant chocolate chip cookies.

Handing the now clear plastic covered platter over the counter, Roscoe asked, “On account?”

“Sure!” Randy said. As they exited, he told an astonished looking Carey, “My dad settles up with him at the end of the summer.”

“Scottie!”

Not a minute later as they approached their car, Randy called out to a guy wearing a black apron who was helping a customer put some large boxes into the back seat of his car.

Scottie stood back and laughed. Turning to his customer, he waved and thanked her. He immediately turned back as Randy and Carey walked up.

“Hello, sweet boy!”

Handshakes and shoulder bumps. Introductions were made around. Carey was stunned at how good looking this guy was. Correction. Not just good looking. Beautiful! Taller than either of them, over six feet. Very slender, narrow hips. His skin was a deep olive brown, black eyes, thick eyebrows, and an oval face. Full, sensuous lips. His long black hair was pulled back into a pony tail.

It was quickly established that Randy and Scottie had gotten to know each other when Randy took a wilderness survival course. Scottie was one of the instructors.

“What are you guys up to?”

Carey was immediately taken with Scottie’s soft breathy voice. He talked almost in a whisper. Positively alluring, he thought.

“We’re heading out for a sail.”

“Oh, what a perfect day for it!”

Carey saw the way Randy was looking at him, a kind of flirty expression on his face.

“Wanna come with us?”

His mind was so wrapped up in other thoughts, he didn’t realize what had just tripped off his lips.

“Great idea!” Randy exclaimed.

Carey tried to mentally pick up the pieces. No retracting the path he had already put them on. Just go with it.

Scottie looked to the right at the open door of the gift shop where he was obviously employed.

“Well…I’m supposed to work…” He hesitated for a moment. “Why not? Sure!” He said brightly.

“Are you sure it’s going to be ok?” Randy asked.

“Yeah. Definitely. I’m in.” Scottie said with more conviction.

“Great! Well, we’re heading back to get the boat ready and stuff. Do you want to meet us?”

“Sounds like a plan.”

“You remember where our cabin is, don’t you?”

“How could I forget?” Scottie whispered as he touched Randy’s arm.

Carey gave both of them a side long glance.

In the car on the way back to the cabin, he broached the subject. “I guess you two have a history.”

Randy just smiled, keeping his eyes on the road.

After organizing the food and an assortment of drinks into a cooler, he headed out of the cabin just as Scottie rode up on an old junker of a bike. Jumping off, he leaned it against the house.

After greeting Carey in his soft voice he asked, “Need help?”

In the interim, he’d pulled the tie out of his pony tail letting the hair fall around his shoulders and perfectly framing his narrow face. His sensuous lips and seductive dark eyes stood out even more prominently against his thick straight black hair. He wore board shorts, a tank top, and flip flops.

“How about taking this stuff down to the boat? I need to change into a swimsuit.”

“Got it!”

He took the cooler from Carey and headed toward the dock. Carey could see that Randy already had the sailboat off of the lift and tied to the end of the dock.

Carey quickly changed into a swimsuit. Before he put on a t-shirt, he coated his pale sensitive skin with sun block. As he was smearing it across his chest and neck, he wondered if he should apply it to his private areas, the ones covered by his swimsuit. Just in case. He smiled to himself and shrugged his shoulders. Let’s see what happens.

Approaching the dock, Carey observed Scottie crouched down on his knees staring into the boat. Carey knew nothing about boats, especially sailboats. This one was probably the most beautiful one he’d ever seen. Midnight blue hull, trimmed in a rich teak, white cockpit, and a black carbon mast. It sat unusually low in the water. It wasn’t all that big; maybe 30 feet long.

Scottie squinted up at him. “It’s a beaut, isn’t it?”

Carey could only nod in awe. “Where’s all the food and stuff?”

“Under the seats.” He pointed to the benches covered by elegant white leather seat cushions.

Randy appeared suddenly, wearing knee length board shorts, stepping confidently into the boat. He directed Carey to sit down next to him, Scottie on the opposite side. Leaning over, he pulled a tie rope off of a cleat and shoved them away from the dock.

“Raise the main!” Randy yelled in his captain’s voice.

Who was he yelling at? Carey smirked. Turning a winch, the main sail rose to the top of the mast in just a couple of seconds. Softly flapping in the breeze, he leaned over and pulled another lever to tighten up.

“Unfurl the jib!” He yelled as he grabbed a winch on the other side. The Jib unrolled.

“Set for tack!” Randy grabbed the teak handled tiller, pulled it to the left, tightened both sails, and the boat took off.

It was like stepping on the pedal of a sports car and going from zero to 60 in 3 seconds. Smooth! It rode like a limo. Hardly a sound except for the soft “whoosh” of water along the side of the boat. The boat ran so low in the water, Carey could easily put his hand over the side and run it through the water.

Scottie laughed.

Carey yelled, “Whoooo-Hoooo!” In a high scream.

Randy smiled broadly. Their hair flapped in the breeze as they tacked along.

“What kind of boat is this?” Carey asked in a stunned voice.

“It’s a CW Hood 32 Day Sailer,” Randy said.

“My God! It’s gorgeous!”

“Give it a good look boys! It’s what a hundred grand will buy ya.”

“Holy shit!” Carey said, shaking his head.

Randy smirked, “She’s custom made. My dad’s a boat snob.”

As they tacked, it was clear the boat was one of the prettiest things on the water. People either fishing, boating, or riding on pontoons stared in awe as they flew by. The breeze was perfect. They crossed the entire lake in less than an hour. Without leaving his seat, Randy loosened the main, pushed the tiller hard right, and the boat turned. A few more turns of the winch, the main tightened up, and off they went back again. Carey gazed at Scottie sitting on the opposite bench. He’d brought his legs up and tipped his head back, letting his luxurious long black hair flow with the wind.

At the end of the second tack across the lake, Randy asked, “Who’s hungry?”

“Me!” Scottie and Carey answered in unison.

Randy laughed. Scottie smiled.

“Let’s see if we can find a nice spot to pull in,” Randy said.

“How about Little Bear Bay?” Scottie suggested.

“Nice idea. But, that’s reservation land,” Randy responded.

“It’s ok,” Scottie replied. With a soft smile, “I’m a tribal member.”

The other two looked at him for a second. Of course! Carey said to himself as he mentally slapped himself in the forehead. Scottie’s black hair, black eyes, coloring.

Randy laughed. “I forgot. That works!”

Halfway through the third tack, Randy grabbed the tiller and sent them sharply to the right. As they neared the shoreline, an opening appeared out of nowhere to reveal a channel. With incredible skill, Randy navigated the sailboat straight through.

Sailing into the bay was like entering another world. Not a boat in the water or a human being on shore was to be seen. No cabins. The tree-line extended all the way to the water in most places. A bald eagle circled lazily above some trees. The boat was becalmed as the wind disappeared completely. The sails slackened.

Momentum carried them almost all the way to the far end of the bay where the boat just came to a stop by itself. The water was like glass.

They were all speechless. The tranquility was overwhelming. After sitting quietly for awhile, Randy jumped up and pushed Carey aside.

“Move your ass!”

Carey got up, they opened the bench, and pulled the coolers out. Unwrapping sandwiches, removing lids from salads, popping soda cans open, they began gorging themselves. It was amazing how hungry you could get just by being on the water. All that fresh air!

As they chattered away, it became obvious that Randy and Scottie did indeed have a past. All it took was a couple of looks between the two of them as they recounted in a rather vague way about sharing some private moments during wilderness camp. And then, Randy admitted, there had been a rather intimate evening for two at his parents’ cabin.

Scottie played it cool, although it was obvious he was a little embarrassed. He gazed out in the distance, a half smile on his face.

After the eating slowed down, Randy asked, “How about a swim?”

“Don’t ya think we should wait a bit? Let’s take a break or we’ll end up puking all that food into this pristine water.”

“Move over,” Randy said as he pushed Carey to one end of the bench.

He pulled his shirt off, brought his legs onto the bench, knees up, and laid his head onto Carey’s lap. Carey stroked Randy’s hair as he closed his eyes. After a moment, Randy brought his hand up to his head and, taking Carey’s, brought it both down onto his chest. Carey stroked Randy’s chest, lightly pinching his nipples every once in awhile. Randy kept his eyes closed but smiled softly. Carey slowly brought his hand down to Randy’s tummy. He could clearly see the tented out shape in front of his swimsuit.

Scottie watched them from the other bench, his expression hiding whatever feelings he might be having.

Just as Carey was about to dip it underneath the waistband, Randy opened his eyes and jumped up.

“Swim time!”

With the other two watching in surprise he stripped off his swimsuit, displaying a fully erect cock, and dove naked off the side of the boat.

Laughing, the other two stripped off their suits, too, and jumped in after Randy. The water was clear, cool, and perfect. Water fights ensued. Randy and Scottie took turns throwing each through the air. Eventually, exhaustion set in. One at a time, they hauled themselves over the side of the boat into the cockpit. Out of breath and laughing, they wrapped themselves in towels.

It got quiet for a moment as they all caught their breaths. Stretching his legs out and looking at his own nakedness, Carey compared himself to a still standing Scottie. There was no comparison.

Scottie was an amazing creature. Tall. Slender. Complexion a gorgeous shade of brown. Completely hairless chest with decent pecs considering how thin he was. Round, dark brown nipples. Flat stomach. Treasure trail leading to a full black bush. A large, thick, uncircumcised cock. Probably seven or eight inches. Kind of dark grey and brown. Bobbing up and down a bit when he moved. Narrow hips that made his cock look even bigger.

Scottie looked at both Carey and Randy.

“I’ll leave you two alone,” he murmured.

“No, stay.” Randy responded.

With that, he grabbed Scottie’s hip and drew him closer. Both Carey and Randy were eye level to Scottie’s magnificent cock, now thickening and rising, the head poking through his foreskin. Randy took the lead, dropping off the bench to his knees. He wound his fingers around Scottie’s cock, licking the head like a lollipop. Carey stood, taking one of Scottie’s hands, and placing it on his own erect dick. He wrapped his other hand around Scottie’s neck, pulling him in for a deep kiss.

The sex that followed was off the charts. Every combination and position. Groans, yelps, grunts, a couple of screams. Finally, they ended up with Scottie flat on his back on one bench, Randy settled down onto the opposite bench, resting his back against the side of the boat, his legs stretched out wide. Carey laid on the deck, tummy resting on a towel, his thoroughly wrecked asshole visible between his outstretched legs.

Randy looked down at him, eyes twinkling.

“This is the life, isn’t it?” Carey half whispered.

“Mmmmm.” Randy murmured, putting his hands behind his head.

Carey struggled to his knees and plopped himself down on the bench next to Randy. After giving him a long, sensuous kiss, he moved his gaze to Randy’s cock. It sat there so beautifully between his legs as it alternately stiffened and relaxed. Taking his right hand, he moved it slightly over Randy and wrapped it around his cock. Randy tipped his head back and closed his eyes.

Carey bent down and took Randy’s now stiff cock into his mouth. He wasn’t sure if it was the lake water or not. It tasted so fresh, so good. He swirled his tongue around his cock. Randy immediately started gasping. Carey tried to make it last; he stopped a couple of times to withdraw Randy’s cock and just kiss the head and shaft. The orgasm came in jerks as he gasped over and over. Carey could feel the back of his throat fill with Randy’s spunk. Pulling his mouth out half way, he swallowed it all down. Randy’s legs and stomach spasmed as he pulled the rest of the way out.

Carey slipped back down to the deck, his back against the bench. On the other side, Scottie’s eyes were half open, a sleepy smile on his lips.

After a minute or so, Randy’s breathing came back to normal. With his eyes still closed, he smiled one of his special smiles.

“That’s why they call this a cockpit.”

They all laughed.
