Albin - Prologue. Prologue

In a small village in Northern Italy in 1880, a young stone mason is fearful of a ‘vision’ told him by the village seer or fortune teller. One that warns of a coming war that will encompass all of Europe, including Italy, his pregnant wife and 3 year old son.

So fearful is he, he sells most of their possessions to buy passage on a ship to 'America'.

Landing safely in east coast Canada, this story describes their journey ultimately to the U.S., their arrival in Pennsylvania, and 3 generations of famiglia that follows.
