Zach Grayson is a soap-opera actor at a crossroads. His career (and his character) hangs in limbo - obey the producers, play it safe, and wait for a coma storyline to revive both his role and his relevance… or walk away, return to his theatrical roots, and risk being quietly erased from the industry altogether.

Lost in this uncertainty, Zach travels back to his hometown for the funeral of his former drama teacher - a professor whose faith in him once shaped everything he believed about art, ambition, and himself. What begins as a formal, almost perfunctory goodbye quickly turns into a life-altering reunion. Old assumptions fracture, long-buried emotions resurface, and repulsion gives way to possibility - then to desire, tenderness, and truths long avoided.

Is this return merely a detour, or the beginning of something braver and more honest?
