Opening line: “I never said this wasn’t going to hurt!”
“I never said this wasn’t going to hurt!” The voice so full of authority, yet so lacking in compassion.
I wasn’t his first victim.
Bent over double, the pain those twelve inches caused was indescribable.
My backside hurt like fire.
Those twelve inches were brought to bear again!
Again!
Again!
Tears ran down my face.
A fifth time!
I begged for it to be over.
Unforgivingly, those twelve inches hit home again!
As I was about to cry out, my headmaster said, “Let that be a lesson not to misbehave in class.”
I glared at him, and the hated paddle.
