Euphoria and Other Poems - 7. Chapter 7
VI
Love's triumph in triumphant red
When every kiss anoints his face
When every desire in calming shade
Bends the truth in million ways

A glittering glade of fireflies
A rosy vision of morning sun
As warmth maketh the blood rise
Two souls connected in essence but
Separated in passionate embrace
Two bodies run to the finish line
Eager to end the final race
Such beauty again was never seen
On eternity which can ever lean
