Dreaming - 1. Chapter 1

Bitter disappointment,
It squeezes tight around my heart,
I can see it in your eyes.

The blinding rage that follows,
Why should I be the disappointment?
It rips through.
Like a thunderstorm,
Waiting for the sky to clear.

Flashes of pain.
What have I done?

I can see the blood,
Pulsing out in a steady beat,
Not following any rules
Thick,
Dark,
Beautiful blood,
Flowing over my fingers.

A smile curls my lips,
With my eyes getting misty.

Dark pearls of red drop down my leg,
The coil around my heart immediately relived from the pressure,
The sky is still cloudy,
Rage still present.

Sharp shots of pain,
Travel to into my brain,
Clearing my thoughts of all but one,
That I can feel something different besides aggression and disappointment.

I can feel it dripping down onto my feet,
Slowly breaking away
Feeling the thump,
Thump,
Thump,
The wonderful feeling of my body pushing its life source out.

The feeling of utter peace,
Is music to my ears.

The only worrying thought,
Is that I know that,
When I wake up from this dream,
I will see the disappointment,
The rage will consume me at times.

You hate me,
I can tell,
Your voice gives it away,
You hostile body and looks.

My heart is beating too quickly,
My breath coming too short,
This is a dream,
Isn’t it?
