Entry for the special anthology Secrets can Kill.

Pop star Little D has the career he's always dreamed of. The only thing missing is the man who made all this possible. Gus was once the name in the Martian music business. Now he's just a footnote. He lost everything in a tragic accident. He even lost a significant chunk of his memory and every day is a struggle for survival. Can his former lover restore what was lost?

Please don't let the sci-fi genre scare you from reading.  This story focuses on the characters and I tried not to drown you in technology and setting.  My editor says she doesn't typically care for sci-fi, but she liked it.  Who knows, maybe you will too!  :P

If you decide to read, please know that I thought up the setting after watching a few too many animes.  Consequently, my Mars culture has many references to Japanese culture.
