Piece by Piece - 4. Schwärzer als die Nacht!
Blacker than night!
Must you still lock me away,
I may walk,
shalt yet not be seen,
I want to be recognized,
I want to be loved.
One step leads to another,
exploring this now ugly world,
Full of hate,
I can't stand it.
WHY?!
Will no one let me share,
With them the world I saw,
From with in my shackles and chains.
Every word I say,
All that I hear,
takes me closer too,
eturnal darkness.
WHY?!
Won't you set me free,
Let me ride to my life,
I will not go back to that place.
It does not matter,
Alas my time is almost over,
I have little but a few more,
precious steps unto my doom.
I'm sorry...
You couldn't share,
You didn't listen,
You couldn't look,
you didn't care.
I do not know why,
Yet as my view fades,
I pity you & your 'happyness',
Yes let the dark take me!
For I am no longer who I was,
That which could of been is lost,
With your blissful ignorace,
You've stolen my life,
And gave your own AWAY!
