Piece by Piece - 5. Thus is my creed.

Complicated feeling are hard to express, I still feel I haven't expressed my true feelings even with this piece.
Though with every piece i write the closer I get to true expression.

It swirls and twirls,
within my head,
It cuts and burns,
all from the inside.

The "real" world,
is it truly real at all?
the pain sears and bleeds,
Am I to drown in the uncertain pool.

When I open my eyes,
all I see is a dark tunnel,
No possible end or light,
I navigate lost in this darkness.

One step after another,
My body deteriorates,
unable to function at full capacity,
The hurt boils my blood.

Yet I still go on,
i promise myself,
Not to become one of those,
Who lie dead and dysfunctional on the floor.

I fight this war in my head,
not for sanity, safety or honor,
but for my own will to finish,
To end it all of my own terms.

To be free of constraints,
To be free of barriers,
To be free of Laws,
And most of all,

To be free of the burden of life and death!

Thus is my creed I trust to you.

Complicated feeling are hard to express, I still feel I haven't expressed my true feelings even with this piece.
Though with every piece i write the closer I get to true expression.
