I was feeling sad Feeling sad and alone
Along came a friend A friend called Roan
He knew just when Just when to say Hi
It meant so much So much that I cry
I told him my tale My tale of woe
And felt the mood The mood start to go
I'm writing this poem This poem of love
For the friend I was sent Was sent from above
Thank you from my heart My heart can now sing
Of you and your love Your love that you bring
I hope you can see Can see what you are
A bright beacon of hope Of hope from afar
Across a vast ocean Vast ocean of wonder
My friend is here Is here from down under
Be strong Roan. You are loved.
