Glossary.

I added this as colloquial Scots is not always easy to understand. If your not sure of something just contact me.

Auld Reekie - Edinburgh. Known as this on account of the smell back in the 17-1800.

Bevvies , pished , - to drink to excess, get drunk, or at least really happy.

Bairn/Wean (bear-n) and (wane) - a child

Burds - women or our feathered friends.

Bawbag - scrotum.  Used as an insult or an endearment.  All in the context, it's all in the context. E.g. I love you, ya Bawbag.  Or haw, Bawbag piss off! :)

Chippy - fish an chip shop.

Dug - dog. As in "I could eat a scabby dug."

Feart - scared

Fuddle - mixed up, confused

F'it - foot

Glaikit - stupid, silly.

Hard - Hold.

Hawn - Hand

Heid - Head

Hinend - Arse or bottom.

Heavin - busy, jumping.

Jessie - a big girls blouse, it is used to describe an effeminate guy or someone who has a fear of something.

Numpty - idiot

Ned - non educated delinquent or young thug.

Puggies - Amusment arcade, video game arcade.

Point Percy - to urinate.

Shtooped - to screw, fuck.

Tat - cheap rubbish.

Umpteen - a few, or many. All in the context.

Voddie - Vodka

Weedgie - [Wee-d-ji) a Glasgow Ned normally talking with nasal tone.

Winchin - necking, French kissing

Weesht - shush, be quiet, "hawd yir weesht" shut up....

Wow! Thanks for the glossary b/c I'd never have guessed what they referred to.

I would say that it might be easier to read if you put each word/character on a seperate line. Listed one after the other made it a bit harder to read. Look forward to the story.
