Barmaid's Sonata - 1. Barmaid's Sonata

Short Stories

I am a bastard son

Born from an act of lust

Into a life plainly unjust

Not into a world of fun

Life unfair before its begun

The final act, the final thrust

Enough to make the barmaid cuss

Growing up the others shun

A willful boy full of grace

Standing proud and tall

A bastard who knows not his place

In this world at all

Unashamed to show his face

In his mother's hall.

Hmmm... interesting. I'm bad with poems, this was ugly beautiful, I guess. It doesn't have to pe pretty to exist and stand tall. Just like your bastard boy in the poem. Made any sence?
