Lilies - 1. Lilies

Your words do burn like lover’s passion:
Another night, its flashing memories
Do sink like metal, burning, melting.

Your looks do tint like India ink:
The stain a memory, a song in trance
For all the lovers who shall burst in dance.

Your breath and air inspires me to sing:
Although these words lack melody and rhyme
I’d rather think your shadow is forever mine.

Your tear, a lachrymose expression, stings:
Like acid rain upon a field of lilies.

Instead of lilies, lies.
