On Saturday we both slept a little late. Marco was more exhausted from his busy week than he wanted to admit. I woke him with a back rub and massaged his legs a little. He showed his appreciation with a long low hum. He turned over on his back and I rubbed his thighs and tried to massage his chest and belly, working around his morning wood, but when I pressed down on his lower abdomen he grabbed my hands and told to stop.

“My bladder is about to burst!” He got out of bed quickly and hustled into the bathroom. There was the sound of a stream of water pouring into the toilet then a flush.

He walked back in looking sheepish. “It's hard to piss through a boner.”

“It sounded like you managed.” I joked. “What are your plans? We are both off today until you have to go to Luigi's.”

He sat down on the edge of the bed and looked thoughtful. “I rinsed out my bike shorts last night but I think they really need to be washed. Do we have any laundry?”

“We need to do these sheets and change the bed. Other than that, just the stuff we wore this week. Maybe two loads.”

He yawned. “I want to go to City Cycles and pick up some more shorts, and maybe a microfiber shirt. They wick sweat and dry better.”

“You can deposit your check from Mercury and use your debit card.” I suggested. “Actually, we might look at the Walmart. I have seen microfiber tees there for ten or twelve dollars.”

Marco nodded in agreement. “Sounds like a good deal. I made over $140.00 in tips last night but I don't need to spend any more than I have to. Is there a Walmart on this side of town?”

“There is one just south along the highway. We can check it out. They have everything.” I told him.

He looked a little concerned. “Do you have time to mess with this?”

“Sure, I have nothing better to do. We might give the apartment a quick cleaning this afternoon, but that's about it.”

He nodded in agreement and started to get dressed. “Want me to fix us some breakfast?”

“How about we just grab some doughnuts?” I suggested.

He smiled and we went out to the car. The first stop was the bank where he deposited his pay check, drove through a place for some doughnuts, then we went to the bike shop. Marco picked up another pair of shorts and looked at the microfiber shirts, noting that they were rather expensive. He snooped around and decided to get some bike shoes.

“These have hard soles and are better to ride in. My sneakers are too soft. The pedal gouges me after riding all day.” He explained. I may put the toe clips back too. They would hold my feet in a better position.”

“I thought they made it hard to get your feet down quickly.”

He shrugged. “I want to try them. I'm sort of figuring this out as I go.”

Next stop was the Walmart where he found 3 microfiber tees for $35 bucks, which pleased him.

“Three for the price of one at the bike shop.” He grinned. “Too bad they don't sell bike shorts.”

We puttered around for a little while and picked up a few things. The Walmart always has something you can't live without. We drove home and I dusted and ran the sweeper while he cleaned the bathroom. We changed the sheets and straightened the bedroom as a team.

“You are a pretty good house keeper.” I noted.

“Mom didn't bother. Somebody had to do it.” He shrugged.

When we finished we sat down and looked around.

“This is a pretty decent apartment.” Marco observed.

“It looks better when it is clean. Speaking of clean, we need to do laundry.”

Marco went to the bedroom and stuffed the dirty sheets into the laundry basket. “Let's go.”

We ran two loads through the washer and dryer downstairs and came back up and put them away. We felt like an old married couple doing our house keeping. By this time it was after two o'clock.

“You hungry?” I asked.

Marco rubbed his stomach. “I think the rent is up on the doughnuts.”

“I'm too lazy to fix anything. Why don't you get ready for work and we can run through the Burger King on the way to Luigi's?” I suggested.

Hey, I can mooch for free at Luigi's.” Marco reminded me.

“Yeah, but I want to eat with you. My treat, OK?”

He grinned and ducked in the bedroom to change. He came out in his waiter clothes.

Will you feel like a traitor eating a burger?”

“Why should I? I'll be saving Luigi some money. I scarfed up some shrimp last night after you left.”

“Hey, that was good stuff.” I recalled.

“Yep.”

We drove through the Burger King and both had a Whopper, fries and a soda. It's hard to beat a good burger. I dropped him off at work and I went home to put my feet up. It already seemed too quiet in the apartment. He called at 10:00 and I ran over to get him. In addition to his tips he had a Styrofoam carryout box.

“What have you got?” I asked.

“A surprise.” He answered mysteriously.

The surprise turned out to be two slices of excellent key lime pie.

“You get this for a bonus tonight?”

“He'll never miss it.” Marco grinned.

“Hey, don't be filching stuff.” I warned him. “You can get fired for that kind of thing.”

He looked annoyed. “I didn't steal it. There were only two slices left and Luigi wanted to start fresh tomorrow. He asked me if I wanted to take them home.”

“Oh, sorry. That was nice of him.”

“He is a pretty nice guy, really. He likes me.” Marco smiled.

“How come is he so fond of you?”

“I sold more than the other two servers tonight, by a lot.”

“Really? You were hustling when I was in there last night.” I admitted.

Another smile. “I don't make money sitting on my butt.”

“I like your work ethic.” I said sincerely.

“Thanks. Do we have any more milk?” He asked.

I poured us two glasses and we ate the pie.

“This is good pie.” I said when I took a bite.

“It was a special tonight. That's why there were only two pieces left.”

We polished it off.

“So, what do you do on Sundays.” He wondered.

“Most Sundays I go to church if I don't sleep in.”

“Really? Are you super religious? I don't see much point in it.” He said.

“Not really. I guess it's just habit.” I said. “You sound like you're down on church.

Marco shrugged. “It's too late for me to get saved. Gay boys go to hell”

“Who told you that?” I asked, a little surprised.

“I thought everybody knew that.” He answered.

I frowned. “Maybe you've been listening to the wrong preacher.”

Another shrug. “That's what I was told.”

“Where were you going to church?” I asked.

“I only went a couple of times. I had a friend who I went to church with a couple of times. That was the message.”

“What church was it?”

“I don't know. It was one of those big places where everybody was jumping up and down, yelling and waving their hands. Some of them were really acting crazy.”

“That thing about God hating gays is bullshit really.” I told him.

“Where do you go then?” He wanted to know.

“St Jerome's Episcopal church. They will tell you that God loves everybody.” I explained.

“You mean there is hope for us?” He smirked. “I thought God hated fags.”

“Oh, that's bullshit.” I repeated.

“How come do you go to church?” He asked.

“Like I told you, maybe it's just a habit, but I don't think God hates us.”

“Is that where you met Wayne?”

“Yes. He is there most Sundays.”

“Wayne is a good guy.” Marco agreed.

“Well, don't knock it unless you've tried it.” I suggested. “Not all churches are the same. For sure most are not as judgmental as the one you visited.”

He gave me a thoughtful look. “I think I will pass for now. Maybe later, OK?”

“Sure. Any time.” That was all that was said.

The next morning I got up early and went to the early service at St Jerome's. I was super quiet to let Marco sleep. On the way home I picked up some bagels and pineapple cream cheese from a Jewish Deli that was open on Sunday. When I got back at ten o'clock he was still asleep. I made a pot of coffee and thought about letting him sleep even later, but wanted his company.

I doctored a cup of coffee the way I knew he liked it and went in to sit on the side of the bed. “Good morning, sleepyhead.”

He opened his eyes. “Morning. What time is it?”

“It's just a little after ten. You ready for a cup of coffee?”

“Sure.” He sat up and took the cup.

He blew on it and decided it was too hot for him. “Just a minute.” He hopped out of bed and hustled into the bathroom to relieve himself.

He returned and proceeded to blow on the hot coffee. “Sorry, but you know how it is.” He took a sip, nodded appreciatively and asked. “So how was church?”

“It was fine. Wayne says hello.”

“Really?” He looked surprised.

“He wanted to know if you had started with the messenger service. I told him that you were a rising star.”

Marco grinned. “Right.”

“I picked up some bagels.” I told him.

He made a little face. “I never ate any bagels before. Don't they look kind of like doughnuts?”

I laughed. “A little, but they aren't sweet. They're a chewy kind of bread. They're good, want to try one?”

He shrugged and got up to pull on some boxers. “Sure. If it's food, I can eat it.”

We sat down and spread some cream cheese on the fresh bagels. Marco decided that he liked them. “Hey, these are good. I can eat these.”

“I love them. Next time I can get some with blueberries in them or something like that.” I agreed.

Marco looked thoughtful. “I want to do something.”

“Like what?”

“Like go somewhere interesting. A Sunday drive or something. You know?”

“That's not a bad idea. What would you like to do?” I asked.

“Is there somewhere nice where we could go, like for a picnic?”

I thought for a minute. “There's a little lake with a swimming beach just west of the city. How does that sound?”

He brightened up. “That sounds cool. I haven't been swimming in forever.”

“That sounds like a plan. We can grab some sandwiches at the same deli where I got the bagels. What do you think?”

“I think that's a great idea!” He jumped up and ran into the bedroom to change clothes. “I don't have a swim suit, can I just wear some cutoffs?”

“Sure.” I told him. “Do you have any?”

“I will in a minute.” He shouted. “Do you have any scissors?”

“In the top dresser drawer.” I shouted back.

He came back in a few minutes wearing an old pair of jeans with short but uneven legs. “Will these work?”

“Perfect.” I laughed. “Let me go change and we can go.”

We stopped at the deli and picked up two pastrami and swiss on rye and some barbecue potato ships. We brought sodas from home. We were on our way. We took our time driving out through the hilly country west of town. It was pretty country, wooded with little farm houses set back in the trees. It opened up as we went downhill to a small lake with a nice swimming beach and picnic tables under some trees. We found a camp site near the beach and put our little ice chest on a table.

“Let's swim first, then we can eat, OK?” Marco was pumped up.

He was ready to swim in his cutoffs so he jumped out and trotted down to the water. I followed after changing to my trunks in the car. By the time I got to the water he was waist deep and bouncing up and down like a little kid. I waded up to him and he began to splash me, laughing happily.

We splashed at each other and he tried to dunk me but I was too strong for him. There was a floating platform out a short distance so I started swimming out to it. “Bet you can't catch me.” I shouted back over my shoulder.

I reached the dock and heaved myself on it. When I turned around to look for Marco I saw him just into the deep water. He was struggling and his hair was over his face. “Come on!” I shouted, but he had a frightened look in his eyes and seemed to be unable to keep his head above water.

I dived in and quickly swam to him just as he went under. I grabbed him from behind and threw myself back, pulling him on top of me and forcing his head up out of the water.

Thinking he had a cramp I asked. “What's the matter Marco?”

He gasped, sputtered and said hoarsely. “I can't swim.”

I turned and started back to shore sidestroke pulling him along with my free arm. “Why the hell didn't you tell me you can't swim?”

“He choked out. “I forgot.”

We were soon back to water shallow enough for his feet to touch bottom and I helped him to shore. A fit looking young man who I took to be a lifeguard, ran out to us. “Are you OK?” He asked.

“He's OK, he just swallowed some water.” I assured him. Marco looked embarrassed.

I was both frightened for him and angry. “Why did you go out in deep water if you know you can't swim??” I demanded.

By now he was coughing and crying. “I'm sorry. I wanted to come out to where you were. I didn't know it was that deep.”

“Oh for God's sake, Marco. You could have drowned.”

He was sitting on the sand a few feet back from the water looking very pitiful. “I'm sorry Marty. It's been a long time since I went swimming. I guess I kind of forgot.”

“Jesus, Marco. I thought I had lost you.” I took him in my arms and held him. “Please don't do anything like that again.”

He nodded him head and shivered. “I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. It didn't look very far and I thought maybe I could make it.”

I held him for a minute then realized that some people were staring at us. I stood and told him. “Come back to the table with me. I think you're OK. Let's go and eat.”

He nodded his head and I helped him to his feet. I kept my arm around his waist as we walked back to where I had parked the car.

He leaned against me. “Thank you Marty. I guess you saved me.”

I got our provisions from the car and set them on the picnic table. “It's OK kid. I'm just glad you are alright.”

He sat for a few minutes and sipped at his soda then coughed up some water and slowly started to eat his sandwich. “I'm OK now, Honest.”

He didn't look that great, but as he got some food in him began to feel better. We ate without saying much. We finished our lunch and put out things away then I took his hand and we walked down the beach.

“I feel bad about this Marco. I should have asked if you could swim.”

He said quietly. “I never learned. Grant took us swimming a few times but I just kind of played in the water. He never got around to trying to teach me to swim. I think he could have, but it just didn't happen.”

“I thought he was a Scoutmaster.”

Marco just shrugged. “I know.”

I sighed. “I should have asked you if you could swim before I ever let you in the water. I'm a good swimmer. I think I could teach you.”

He looked sideways at me. “Could you? That would be cool if you could. Having to be rescued was kind of embarrassing.”

“Not to mention dangerous.” I reminded him. “You were going under when I got to you.”

He looked very sad. “So now you know. I can't swim.”

The sun was hot and I felt my shoulders getting red. Marco had a permanent suntan so wasn't bothered much. “I'm ready to go back.” I said. “You about ready?” He nodded.

We got back to he car and I changed back to my street clothes. He sat on a towel while we drove back to the apartment. He carried the little ice chest up the stairs and went in the bedroom to shower and change into his black jeans and white shirt.

He sat down next to me on the sofa. “Thank you for taking me on a picnic.” He said. “It was nice, even if I tried to drown. Sorry if I scared you.”

I had to laugh. “That's OK. You're still alive so it's alright. We should maybe talk about some swimming lessons though.”

By now it was 3:30 and time for him to go to work. “Want me to take you?” I asked.

“No, I'm fine to walk; it's not far. I'll call you when I'm ready to come home.” He gave me a hug and kissed me on the cheek. “I love you.” he stood quickly and headed for the door.

“Please be careful, Marco. I would hate to lose you.” He nodded, went out the door and down the street leaving me to my thoughts.

I needed someone to talk to so I called Wayne, and told him about our adventure at the lake.

“Enroll him in some swimming lessons at the YMCA.” He suggested.

“Frankly, I don't know when he would have time. He works every day.”

“Either that or don't take him swimming again.” He cautioned me.

“Right. I'll check with the Y and see what they have available. Good idea, thanks.” Wayne was a good guy, and maybe a better friend that I realized.

I curled up on the sofa with the Sunday paper and read until I fell asleep. Swimming can make a guy tired.

Marco called about 10:15 for a ride. “It's only a few blocks. I can walk that far, you know.”

“I know. Be right there.” He was standing on the curb waiting for me. He was carrying two envelopes, a fat one with his tips, and a thin one with his paycheck. We sat at our table back in the apartment and he counted the tips. $140.75 tonight, $410.00 for the weekend. He lifted up the paycheck. “Ta-da! $465 from Luigi.”

“You're rich!” I bragged on him.

“I'm making more than I expected. I better get this in the bank.” He gave me a big grin. “You know what? Over the last three nights, two couples came in and asked for me to serve them. I thought that was pretty cool.”

“Repeat business is the best kind.” I agreed. “They probably tip better, too.”

“Yes, they did give me a nice tip. But what was nice about it was that they remembered me and wanted me to serve them. Like we were friends now, you know? It just made be feel good.”

I had to smile. “Sometimes doing something well is its own reward.”

“Yeah. I think that's right.” Marco agreed. “And when I deliver something really fast and the guy looks pleased, almost surprised that I got it there so fast, that makes me feel good.”

“Don't lose that, Marco. That's the right kind of pride.” I smiled at him. “I'm proud of you.”

He looked very pleased. “That feels good too. I promised to make you proud of me, you know.”

I reached out and ran my fingers through his hair. “You are making me very happy that you're here, Marco. I'm sort of glad you seduced me that first night in the park.”

He grinned back at me. “Me too. Now if you can teach me how to swim, maybe I can stick around for awhile.”

“We will have to work on that. You ready for bed?”

“OK. Can we take a shower first? I worked up a sweat at Luigi's. I am probably kind of stinky.”

“Sure. I don't want to go to bed with a stinky boy.”

We undressed and got in the shower, doing our usual dance and helping each other get clean. It was a nice dance. We didn't bother to put anything on but climbed into bed sans clothing. Marco slid into my arms and we snuggled. He fit against me so perfectly. Now that our air conditioning had been turned on, the room was cool and his body felt nice and warm next to mine. We kissed, and began to do another dance, this one even nicer than in the shower.

I rolled over on my back, pulling him on top of me. It felt so natural to have him in my arms, his long wet hair hanging over my face, smelling of soap. He kissed me tenderly and spread his legs so that our cocks were pressed together.

He ran his hand between us and fingered the hair on my chest. “I wish I was hairy like you.” He said.

“Oh no, I like you smooth. I like you just the way you are. You are very beautiful, Marco.”

He raised his head to look in my eyes. “I think you are beautiful too. Do you know how beautiful you are?”

I smiled back at him. “I never think of myself that way. I think I am pretty average, I guess.”

“No, you are nothing like average. I think you are the most wonderful person I ever met. That's for sure Marty.”

“Damn, that's a nice thing to say. I wish it were true.”

He raised his eyebrows. “You want a second opinion? Hmm, let me think about that. Yeah, I still think you are wonderful.”

I laughed. “That's not exactly a second opinion.”

In way of an answer he kissed me again. “Well, that's my opinion. Who else's do you want?”

“Hmm, I guess I will settle for that.”

Marco began to move his hips from side to side while he tweaked my nipples. ”Hello beautiful man. would you like to play with me?”

“How could I possibly resist an offer like that. I would love to play with you, kiddo.” I put my hands on his ass and pulled him tighter.

He slid down to put his face between my legs and licked my hard cock, tonguing the length of it, then putting it between his lips and running his mouth up and down. It felt so good. He licked my balls and took first one and then the other in his mouth and sucked on them, pulling them down and pressing his lips together. His wonderful long black hair floated over my stomach. The boy had talent.

“Damn, Marco. Where did you learn to give head like that?”

“Grant let me use his computer and I found some interesting videos on Xtube.” He told me, then went back to work on my cock, taking the full length of it in his mouth and coughing a little.

“Jeez Louise!” It was very intense. “Did Grant know you were watching that stuff?”

He paused long enough to look up and grin at me. “Probably. It was bookmarked.” Then he went back to work.

After a minute I stopped him. “Hang on, You're going to make me cum.”

He stopped. “Don't do that already. I want to be fucked.”

I gave him a look. “Would you rather fuck or be fucked?” I asked him.

“I really like it when you fuck me.” He said. “I mean it is nice the other way too, but I like for you to fuck me. I like that a lot.”

“That's cool, but I don't want to take advantage of you.”

He raised his eyebrows. “Why not? I mean if I like it too?”

At the moment I couldn't think of a good reason. “Your wish is my command.”

I pulled him up so that he was on top of me again and reached down to spread his ass cheeks apart. “I like when you ride me.” I told him.

He leaned over and fetched the tube of K-Y jelly out of the night stand. “This makes it nice.” He said, and applied it generously to my cock and his ass.

“Ready?” He reached behind himself and positioned my hard dick at his ass hole, and began to sit down on me. “Oh, that's so nice.” He whispered.

There was a moment of pressure then I popped inside him. He smiled and dropped his head forward, tossing his hair over my chest. “I like that Marty, I really like that.”

I pushed up, he pushed down and I was fully inserted inside him. It was so hot and moist and wonderful. “Oh God, Marco. Please fuck me.”

He tossed his hair back and smiled. “Who is fucking who?”

“Ummm, it appears to be mutual. No complaints from me.” I rocked from side to side as he moved up and down. We were in sync again, and approaching nirvana.

We really tried to make it last. He rubbed my nipples, I ran my hands over his smooth brown chest and torso. He felt the muscles of my arms and shoulders, I ran my hands through his beautiful hair. We were enjoying each other's bodies while my cock plumbed the depths of his ass. It was wonderful, but nothing lasts forever.

“Oh shit, Marco. Get off, I'm going to cum.” I warned him.

He bent over and held me tightly. “I want it, cum in my ass.” He urged me, and pounded himself onto me. I obliged.

I was not touching his cock, rather my hands were gripping his beautiful firm ass cheeks. Nonetheless, we cummed at the same time. I inside him and he between our bellies. I could feel him hot and wet on my stomach while we mashed our mouths together in passion. We stopped only for air and lay with your faces together, gasping for breath.

“Shit!” Marco cried. “That was fucking intense.” I was unable to speak.

We lay pressed together for several minutes, slowly coming down from our mutual euphoria. It was almost unbelievable that we had found each other. Despite the difference in our ages and circumstances, it seemed that we were perfectly matched. I wanted this to last forever.

“Whew. You're something else, Marco.”

He smiled at me and whispered. “I love you Marty. I'm sure now. I really love you. You took me to a nice place for a picnic, and then saved my life.”

“Well, the picnic was your idea.” I grinned.

“No, really.” He looked at me very seriously. “I read somewhere that when someone saves your life, you belong to them forever.” Then he smiled at me with his beautiful smile. “Maybe you're stuck with me.”

“I hope so. I really do.” I kissed him and tousled his hair. “we need to make this work.”

“I'm doing what I can.” He said.

“You're doing pretty good.” I told him. “Now I'm afraid we need another shower. What do you think?”

He raised up and spread the white goo over my stomach with his hand. “Could be.”

We went back to the bathroom and did our shower dance one more time. It was such a very nice dance. Then we dried off and returned to our rumpled bed.

“I don't think we even got the sheets dirty.” He said.

“I think I got most all of it.” I chuckled. “We better turn in, you have to ride your bike tomorrow.”

He snuggled up close and put his face in my neck. “Good night Marty. I love you. I'm really sure of that.”

I held him tight and we fell asleep. It had been a busy day.
