I can forgive the things you’ve said

I can forgive the way you played with my head

I can forgive your arrogant ways

I can forgive the games that you play

 

I know you can’t help it

I know you can’t change

I know it’s a pattern

I know that you’ll stray

 

I feel like I love you

I feel like a fool

I feel like your brother

I feel like a tool

 

I can’t help that I stay here

I can’t help that I try

I can’t help that I love you

I can’t help that I cry

 

I want it to work

I want you to know

I want to change with you

I want us to grow

 

I won’t just give up

I won’t just walk away

I won’t turn and leave

I won’t leave you that way

 

I live for your love

I live for your touch

I live for the brutality

I live for your punch

 

I love that you’re here

I love that we’re fine

I love that we’ve made it

I love that you’re mine
