Stannie's poetry - 2. Running
Just a small one. It's originally a Dutch poem as well. It did rhyme, but to keep the same layout after translating, I couldn't keep the rhyme. In my opinion tha't not a problem though, because it's about the content, right?

I’m running
From my past
Towards you
I’m running
And believe me
It hurts
Running without
legs.
And I got lucky
There is only one road
Running to you
Isn’t hard
But, I don’t know why
For some reason
I can’t seem to
reach you.
There are so
Many obstacles
I gotta dodge
Though that is
Easy
Without legs
Because then I
can’t fall
And you are
Running as well
Do you even try
To get to me
Or did you only
Ask me
To run towards you
to see me fail
Does it make you
Happy
To know there
Is someone
Without legs
But with feelings
So when I can’t fall
you can still hurt me
