Incomplete Existence
Hi all. Okay so my previous blog entries haven't gotten much response, but I guess that is because of the lack of things I had to say, but today I have stuff.
First, every week my AP European History teacher, who is probably the worst teacher I have ever had starts a new chapter by making all of us fill out these insane study guides and take notes on a 30-40 page chapter. The study guide does no good, because the questions don't make sense and the notes are just a pain. A while ago, we realized how useless this stuff was and also that she doesn't read either of them. In my last set of notes, I wrote "and the cows ate the monkeys" and in a previous study guide I wrote that a guy was the first person to travel in time to the year 12 from 2145. That being said, we decided to split these things. My two best friends and me do this every time. This time, my best friend, Jon, decided to include another of my friends. At about 11:00 today, I realized that I left my book at school and thereby had no way to do my part of the notes. I tried to get them from someone else and after a lot of begging, he agreed, but the catch was that I would get them late--at like 10:00. Obviously, this doesn't work, because everyone else wants them before then. As if that weren't enough, the friend who we included this time, did a crappy job on the notes and we had to re-do his section. It was about this point when everyone blamed me and started getting angry. Both people in the group got angry, and another of my friends exploded at me tonight. Jon has since calmed down, but he was pissed. I did get the notes from them, but they had to do them, and that can't be good because they will probably be expecting me to do them next weekend...which is my birthday weekend.
On happier news, I finished the first chapter (its short though) of my story. It is entitled "Incomplete Existence." It is up @ http://adam.obproject.com. If you get a chance to read it, please comment here or email me, it would be greatly appriciated. At this point in time, the story does not mention anything that has anything to do with being gay, but never fear this is a major theme. I wanted to introduce the characters first. I would really appriciate any feedback/comments or people who just read it and like it. The following chapters will probably be longer, but this was my first attempt at creative writing, so it's new to me
