roommate-icide
I've been trying really hard not to complain about this, but I think I can either get it out of my system here or commit murder. Two of my roommates are absolutely great. They try to keep the noise down, they share food and stuff with us, they ask if we need anything, etc. The third, the one we share a bathroom with, is the world's biggest jackass. He's already given me several lectures for stupid little things (mostly him being a clean freak) but tonight he freaked out and started screaming at us for no reason. My bf and I were sitting in our "room" watching tv, and we hear him ask if we're both here. So we say yeah, and he says, "Good, stay out of my f-ing room!" He starts stalking away, but I got over being dumbfounded in time to yell after him that I haven't been in his room. Then he asks if we took a roll of toilet paper from his room. Umm..I didn't know he kept toilet paper in his room. Why would you? Then he just sort of said, "Oh, I guess I need to yell at someone else then. Sorry." and went in his room and slammed the door like a child having a tantrum. (He's at least 35.) A couple of minutes later one of my other roommates gets home, and the guy goes to yell at him, and they have it out for 45 minutes or so. Apparently it was the fourth roommate who actually took the toilet paper (like it matters!) In the end, he left us a freaking post-it note in the bathroom saying he was sorry instead of apologizing to our faces for jumping to conclusions and screaming at us. If this whole thing sounds like something 5 year olds would fight about, well, that's exactly my point. I'm getting so sick of the childishness going on around here. The two guys are brothers and I don't want to start a fight between them. But christ, I'm not going to stand for being treated like sh*t for much longer. *deep breath*Okay, then.
