roommate-icide

I've been trying really hard not to complain about this, but I think I can either get it out of my system here or commit murder. Two of my roommates are absolutely great. They try to keep the noise down, they share food and stuff with us, they ask if we need anything, etc. The third, the one we share a bathroom with, is the world's biggest jackass. He's already given me several lectures for stupid little things (mostly him being a clean freak) but tonight he freaked out and started screaming at us for no reason. My bf and I were sitting in our "room" watching tv, and we hear him ask if we're both here. So we say yeah, and he says, "Good, stay out of my f-ing room!" He starts stalking away, but I got over being dumbfounded in time to yell after him that I haven't been in his room. Then he asks if we took a roll of toilet paper from his room. Umm..I didn't know he kept toilet paper in his room. Why would you? Then he just sort of said, "Oh, I guess I need to yell at someone else then. Sorry." and went in his room and slammed the door like a child having a tantrum. (He's at least 35.) A couple of minutes later one of my other roommates gets home, and the guy goes to yell at him, and they have it out for 45 minutes or so. Apparently it was the fourth roommate who actually took the toilet paper (like it matters!) In the end, he left us a freaking post-it note in the bathroom saying he was sorry instead of apologizing to our faces for jumping to conclusions and screaming at us. If this whole thing sounds like something 5 year olds would fight about, well, that's exactly my point. I'm getting so sick of the childishness going on around here. The two guys are brothers and I don't want to start a fight between them. But christ, I'm not going to stand for being treated like sh*t for much longer. *deep breath*Okay, then.

Val....I keep thinking about the post it (to match the roomie going postal)..it reminds me of the break up scene from Sex and the City. Carrie's BF breaks up with her with a post it "I can't do this any more" sorry..I think that was the note. I say sit his passive aggressive butt down, along with his brother, and tell them either work their stuff out and leave you out of it or go work out their anger at the gym....

Who needs drama after a tough day...geez....and worrying about sheets of toilet paper....I say that boy has tissues...I mean issues...I know bad jokes....all I can say is good luck...either that or tell him to buy softer toilet paper so he isn't such a pain in the you know what....I know more bad puns..sorry.

At least you can write about it.

Val :(

Sorry you had to deal with all that crap... but Micheal's comment must have made you smile a little... I did.

Micheal, you are clever and silly, and ... I like it!!

I have never lived with roommates before, just a lot of family, but our toilet paper was always fair game, and we kept it in the bathroom, you know where the toilet actually is...

Like that bumper sticker I said I saw, tell him 'I tried to see your point of view, but I couldn't get my head that far up my ass!'

Viv..you are a sweetie..thanks..as I sit here and blush at your compliments...and I hope Val will be fun..she is super fly cool....(I take myself back to the 1970s as I say that one)

but she has a mad as hell I am not going to take it any more crazy sense of humor...so I say "you go girl"......it beats curled up in the fetal position.....I still say she drop kicks his butt (well, she can whoop ass him with her comments...or tell him to post this and give him the 1 finger salute)

and yeah, I say he has definite tissues....hording toilet paper secretively locked in his bedroom.....geez, is he making love to it or what? that boy needs to get a clue, buy a vowel and leave our Val alone:)
