:ranger: :sheep: lol.....Well, if I haven't gotten on anyones nerves just yet, that all changed today when I made my first real oppositional post in the soapbox...I was reading these posts on this topic called The Agenda, and up until today, I was feeling what people were saying, then I read a post blaming the President for all kinds of problems that some people have in this country, and I couldn't stop myself from posting. I guess you can say that I have no patience for people who think that the government is responsible for taking care of people who don't want to take care of themselves. It's basicly saying that since some people have worked hard and taken care of themselves, they should be forced to pay higher taxes to take care of the ones who never did. It's silly.On to other things now.......I have been working hard on my story. I got all the way up to chapter 13, so now Im working on 14. Some of this stuff is kinda hard to write about because they arent all good memories, but I plan on sticking to it until the story's done, then Im gonna edit it about 4 times over, then Im gonna print it out and bind it and keep a copy for myself and give one to my bf. I don't know how happy he'll be since no one gets their head chopped off in it, but he'll live... :wacko: Anyway, I just thought I would update this thing, and if anyone who is reading this is offended by what I wrote in the soapbox, just know that it isn'tpersonal, at least for me, and that I just see things differently from other people. I really do think Bush is a dick for talking about banning gay marriage, but aside from that and the fact that he has us tied up in an unconstitutional war, he's a pretty good leader for our nation, and one day he might be seen as one of the best ever.KissesNickolas

You haven't stuck your foot, nose or head in anything regarding the soapbox. You experssed an opinion, and did so in a respectful manner (as far as I can tell, but I probably not the best judge of these things :whistle: ).

 

I can honestly say I have not read you story :*) , but it is only a matter of time.

 

Maybe you could chop someone's head off in the last chapter as a cliff hanger to make your bf happy.

Ha Ha. I bet that if Bush had Taylor for a bf, he wouldn't mind chopping his head off either..lol. Actually, I bet that if the BUsh Administration would just set my bf loose in the caves that Osama Bin Laden is hiding out in, Osama would come out and surrender, and the UN would charge us with war crimes :2hands:

Nick, that was me in the SoapBox and I stand by my position and you stand by yours...and I enjoy our chat back and forth via posts..you are always polite. I hope I am too..I still owe you a response..just been busy with work and stuff...so, please don't stop your posts...I actually relish them....you are a good foil for me and I hope I am for you..we are opposites in opinions and that's what makes it fun and interesting...

 

so, relax, keep posting and give me time, so I can post back...you have home work and I have work....so in between posts will be cool and fun and interesting.....

 

I feel you are smart and a good guy..even if I don't agree with you often..but then again you don't agree with me often...and Snow Dog may flame me for saying one of my favorite words..but its all cool:)

 

so, don't give up the soapbox and glad you have your blog soapbox....I will enjoy both our repartee and sharing in both places:)

Hey Micheal, thanks for the comment. I think you're cool to, and if I come off as a Bush supporter, Im really not. I just love reading about the constitution and I think that no one follows it today, so I get all riled up when it comes to politics.....trust me, republicans get just as mad at me as democrats do....lol
