The silence once again.

It's quiet tonight and the female dog hasn't showed her face. Our new friends the neighbors down the street came by for a visit today. I was a bit hung over from the wine and the beer and the vodka that we drunk after the party so I wasn't the friendliest person but my bf made lunch and they told us what heppened after we left.Apparently the fight carried over tot he living room as the men dragged the women apart. The fight began when the mother came in and accused our new frind the woman of talking trash. She had heard her say what the bastard had done to her son to us and pushed her against the wall. To which the woman yelled, "what the bleep is your problem?" and hit her.So after we left and the men had pulled their wives apart the woman began crying saying that everyone has it out for her. More like her son has it out for everyone and she's to blind to see it. The husband just as useless began to consol her and yelled at the other man, our new new friend for letting them fight. So then the men had an argument that almost turned physical but the boys walked into the room and the man took his wife and walked away. Then the parents called the police saying that they wanted a restraining order against our new friends. They came by so that we can tell our side of the story and after talking we realized that we actually like these people and their son is sweetheart. I really feel bad because we just started fighting with these people and they've been at it since they moved in two years ago.So now we sit in silence waiting for the next blow from our lovely neighbors. I'll keep you posted.Green

Well, then at least something good came out of this mess! It's always nice to make new friends, especially when you have a common enemy to unite against and strengthen the friendship. :2hands: :sword: And hey, now it's 5 vs. 5! :D

Best of luck with your next adventure! ;)

Geez, no wonder the neighbor kids are so screwed up. Not that it excuses the behaviour of the little monster, but still...

I'd say cut the kid a break, but that won't get you anywhere, and you're not obligated to civilize the little hellion. I wouldn't play his game, if you can avoid it, since you're not likely to go far enough to make that work. Getting furious at him won't help either, unfortunately. About all you can do is take no crap from him, and if you do catch him make it really clear how unacceptable what he's doing is.

Don't yell, don't scream, don't pitch a fit -- that'll make it worse. Make it really clear he's behaved badly, you're very unimpressed, and disappointed he did what he did.

This might not help -- probably won't. It's your best bet, though.

Green, the problem is obviously a lot bigger than you will ever be able to deal with. By making you the enemy, the kid can take pressure off himself and it appears that the mom is more than willing to take his side. I suspect that he gets more attention from his mom now than he did a few weeks ago.
