Fog Horns
San Francisco.
Where to begin? I could do the whole play by play rundown of events according to Steve, but instead I'm going to hop to the parts that ment something to me. This brings us to the end. Oh don't get me wrong the whole weekend was a blast, even if Castro turned out to be less then impressive. It's been a long time since I have laughed so much, and felt so comfortable in the company that surrounded me.
Anyhow, the thing I probably enjoyed the most during the weekend was the walk Joe, Snowdog, and I took Sunday night. Up Brodway, through some nice houses, down a switchback pathway. The three of us meandered through residential streets and down to the bay, talking about nothing in particular other then what PG&E stood for. (Pacific Gas & Electric for those of you who are now wondering)
The walk was enjoyable, even though we pretty much walked all weekend(in the sun, not in the shade), and the flip of a coin determined or next direction in a strange city. Ever notice how taking a walk clears your mind? Pushes away everything but your destination, and the steady rythm of a distant foghorn. A destination that drew all too much clearer as the three of us made a left from beach onto polk. A destination that would take us away, back to where we belonged, and away from the home we found in San Francisco for three days.
Thanks to Dan and Trebs for setting it up, Thanks to snow for allowing me to crash on the bed next to his, thanks to Viv for telling me I had to go.
To Jeff who on friday told me to get my ass out of the chair he wanted a proper hug.
And, thanks Joe for the seriously ( ) great adventure you lead me on through the streets of incomparable San Francisco.
Till, the next AMAZINGLY stunning adventure, I'll be smileing with the memories of the last.
Steve
