Italics removed in editor

I guess I should make it known when I pasted my latest chapter in editor yesterday, all italics disappeared. That's the first time this has happened in months. Back then I had an issue with most or half of the text in my chapters posting in italics. :)  It wasn't a big deal, but I thought I should bring it to your attention, Myr. I did it as per usual, and I didn't click on any 'remove formatting' bars. Thanks... Gary

A few things Gary...

  1. Did the italics disappear when you pasted or when you saved (submitted) the chapter?
  2. What browser were you using?  What Operating System?
  3. What were you pasting from? (Word? Google docs? Something else?) and (Which version?)

The problem we have with "it didn't work", which we get all the time in support requests, is that there is an insane number of combinations of software and some combinations just don't work.  To troubleshoot, we need the details.

Sorry, Myr.

They disappeared as soon as I pasted them into editor. I replaced them in editor, and then saved/submitted. They remained. No issues there.

My browser is google Chrome... Windows 10 OS

My laptop is a new MSI

I pasted from Word 2013.

Thanks. Gary

Okay.  I'll look into this over the weekend.
