I was taught that Fitz was used when the child was recognized by his father. But you might be right. I'm thinking of Henry VIII's son Henry Fitzroy. Maybe both are true.

Mark, you must have had so much fun writing JJ's character. He's both hilarious and infuriating to read. I am curious if you've ever known someone like this. Actually, I have a sister who used to watch herself in the buffet's mirror in the dining room when she spoke to us.
