******************************* Tara held her brother close, wiping away his tears with her hand. The beginning of a bruise was forming around his right eye and dried blood still covered his broken lip. Tara had always looked out for her brother. Even though he was already taller then her 5'6" frame he always seemed fragile to her. She could never understand how such a kind loving person could have such difficulties as he seemed to have. Reserved to the point of being shy, her y

Around 2 A.M., the boys were all in Nathan's room discussing dad's date. Nathan and Landon were both on the bed, still naked from their own activities last night. Chris could see the cum stains on the blue sheets of the bed as well as the dry crust on Landon's stomach. Chris was a lot like his dad in finding it weird that his brother's were doing it but if it made them happy he really didn't mind. "So do you think dad is getting it on right now?" Nathan asked excitedly as Landon played with N

Some time late at night Josh awoke to find the bed empty. He wandered around the apartment looking for Robert but it appeared that both Robert and Josh's car keys were gone. Not knowing where Robert had gone and not wanting to suspect the worse, he went to the kitchen to clean things up. The food by this time was cold and needed to be put away before it spoiled. After that was done, he went to the couch so he could think. He knew that his difficulty with having sex was a problem. He had less the

Vard stood by as he watched the clans of the northern plains ford the great Olo River. On the other side were the warm, green lands of the farmers, the bounty of the cities, and the hard stone of fortresses and so far none had opposed them. That was to be expected however for while the river marked the boarder of the kingdom of Yates Varros' people were still two days ride from the nearest settlement. "Shall I send out a scouting party?" Broken Claw asked as he reined in his horse

Karl hit his best friend in the head with the marshmallows. “Only if he doesn’t give Peppy all the graham crackers.” On cue, the gold lab tackled the boys. “Off me, get off me you

He was the young intern who had just moved to Big Rock and bought the large house out by the lake. Greg, the boy

He had nightmares of Josh lying in his arms dying, blood everywhere with Josh repeating the same phrase over and over again; "I'm sorry." When he finally left his room he smelled food coming from down stairs. This he took as a goo

Early on as a youth Vard had noticed a strange fact… that all the lovers he ever taken, which had been many, they had all been born around the day he had been found by the Wolf Clan… a day that had been as close to a birthday as Vard had ever had. Chapter Ten: The Prince of Ralsat “And the prince, having fought long and hard defeated the evil witch atop the tower where she had kept the princess her prisoner. Now, just outside the princess’s door, all Prince Ralsat had left to do was open the door and give his princess the kiss that would break the witch’s spell.” A line from the last chapter of the Prince of Ralsat. The bones had been set and bandaged but the pain was still incredible. Jason, his whole body shaking

Gerick returned with his promised change of clothes, dressing Joshua in a simple wool grey tunic while Thomas put on a deep blue robe that was the color of his house. Thomas once again took Joshua’s hand in his but this time without his thick leather gloves. The contact of skin on skin sent a shudder through both men. “Joshua?” Thomas asked amazed. It was as if the contact had brought two opposite sides of a magnet. Joshua was lost for words… for his w

David held Josh in his arms, as the two lay naked in bed wishing that it were three. David knew that he was special, that all three of them were special. It had been what he believed attracted them to each other. David could read peoples minds as long as he could remember. As a young child he could not control it and became scared being near other people as his mind was always flooded with other people's thoughts. erry and Robert stayed out in the backyard for a few more minutes but eventually Terry excused herself saying she needed to wash her face before Josh saw her. Robert stayed outside, letting the cold air penetrate his cloths and chill his skin. He knew that Terry had not told him everything. There were still some dark secrets being kept from him but he knew better then to try to force them out. He had Mrs. Williams for that. He was so deep in his thoughts that he didn't notice the scre

If it you weren't planing to let the new story cover the same time period as 'Seeing Double' then you could consider it a sequel but since it will be it would be better as a companion like (Torchwood and Sara Jana Adventures are to Dr. Who)

For me it takes a long time to come up with the start of a new series. It usually begins with me thinking of something that I found painful in the past. As the past is in the past and cannot be relived I try to take those bad memories and create a fictitious world around it which usually is in the scifi genre. Like any past issue it take quite a while to find the exact means by which I try to sort it out, usually in bed while trying to fall asleep. In the past this has taken months if not years for me to come up with the world, characters, and webbed plot line that shaped most of the stories I write. Even so it usually takes several start-from-scratch efforts before I come up with a version I can live with. The amount of time this consumes is near insane but as my writings are mainly for personal growth it cannot be rushed. It does have one MAJOR benefit in that the entire series is not self contained within the individual chapters but takes a longer view of plot development. While many writers create self contained chapters that have their own plot, climax (both sexual and non) and resolution mine tend to be very stretched out... in some cases long winded, but in doing so lets the reader gain ever increasing insight in the characters and the message I wish to convey through them. I guess the best example would be The Centurion Cycle. That one took four years to write and that was three years after the concept of the Centurion/Legatio first took shape in my mind. For that reason it is also my longest piece of work at 700K. Yet even after I wrote the very last chapter of the series I found there was more to the tale that needed to be told. For while the main theme of the story focuses on the healing of the soul in the end the healing was flawed. For two years I left it there but during that whole time my mind's been working on some sort of solution to the Gordium Knot I left at the end of the series. As the Centurion was born of issues of the past its been through recent events that I think I've come up with a solution to the question that was left unanswered. When/If it gets posted I have no idea... so far I'm 50 K into the telling and while I know how I wish it to end, that end is far from being written.
